Chapter-37
Disha's POV
Once all my work in the kitchen was done, I warmed up a glass of milk adding in a small teaspoon of turmeric in it before bringing it to a boil and transferring into a glass. Taking it, I made my way towards the chamber.
"Tara, why aren't you asleep yet?"
I asked as soon as I entered inside her room and saw her sitting upright in her bed. All the lights were turned on in the room and her bed was completely messed up.
"I can't sleep bhabhi sa,"
She replied pouting her lips as she threw the pillow aside, jumping down from her bed.
"Drink this milk firstly and then you will be able to sleep,"
I told her before forwarding the glass of milk towards her making sure it wasn't hot. Unlike, Lakshya (her nephew) she didn't make a weird face seeing the glass of milk and took it quitly gulping it down sip by sip.
"Thank you, bhabhi sa. Why don't you give milk to bhai sa as well? Then he would also be able to sleep at night,"
She said giving me back the glass of milk which was now empty.
"Your bhai sa do not need all this. He is a grown up man,"
I told her patting her cheek as I took her back to her bed to make her sleep.
"So, you are saying that grown up men do not need to rest? But every human being needs to rest, bhabhi sa. And I don't think bhai sa is a robot,"
Her words made me halt in my actions as I thought of it over and over again until I realised something.
Of course, he needs to sleep and take rest. He is not a robot to keep on working like that.
"You are right, Tara. I will take care of him so you shouldn't worry about him and go to sleep,"
She nodded her head and then I tucked her in her bed turning all the lights off in the room expect the small night lamp which was placed besides her bed on a small bedside table.
"Good night darling,"
"Good night, bhabhi sa,"
Kissing her cheek, I wished her good night and walked away from there.
I knew for some reasons that something is definitely wrong in the company right now, I can clearly see it from the face of Mr. Rathore when I came to call him for dinner. He was looking tensed for the first time and I don't know the exact reason behind that tensed expression on his face. Whether it is theconversation he had with that anonymous man or Ratan Singh ji. And I am also sure about the fact that he is not going to tell me anything about it.
