Chapter-11
The whole Rathore family sat on the dining table for breakfast like usually while having a few discussion here and there which didn't last long as they all went silent when Narendra arrived there. Everyone greeted him as he sat on his chair.
Looking at both Narendra and Ranvijay anyone could easily tell that the latter has taken all his father's qualities. They both look equally intimidating and their behaviour is similar as well. People might think that the father–son duo share a great bond but the truth is completely opposite. The soreness in their relationship can be easily judged by even an unknown person.
"Good morning, baba sa"
Narendra smiled when Disha wished her coming out of the kitchen with a bowl.
"Good morning, bacche"
He wished her back.
In these few weeks in the absence of Ranvijay, one thing that has changed majorly is Disha's relation with the other family members. She has become more comfortable with all and the same goes with others as well.
"Come sit and have breakfast with us, Disha."
Nandini spoke as she gestured her to sit besides her to have food.
"It's fine, maa sa. You all should have first," she replied while serving everyone food.
Her gaze shifted towards the door for a brief second before it diverted towards everyone. This little action of hers didn't got unnoticed by Narendra and he said,
"You don't have to wait for him, Disha. He might not come to join us for breakfast."
To say Disha was shocked by her father-in-law's statement would be least as she looked at him puzzled. Sensing her confusion, Nandini intervened in between their conversation,
"Hukum usually goes directly to his office without having breakfast, Disha. So you shouldn't wait for him and join us,"
She explained to her on behalf of her husband.
Disha frowned at her statement because even last night he didn't had anything and staying hungry for so long is not at all good for once health. Even though, she was angry with his behaviour last night yet she didn't want to see him hungry. No one should stay without food for such a long time and skipping breakfast definitely isn't a good thing as it is the first meal of the day.
Before she could reply to her mother-in-law's statement Ranvijay walked inside the room without glancing at anyone and sat on his chair which had been left vacant in his absence. No one dared to sit on his chair as they all respected him enough to do so.
"Finally, you are here."
The hidded jeer in Narendra's words directed towards Ranvijay was clear to everyone as he said so.
"What are you talking about?"
Ranvijay asked
"You don't know anything, do you?"
Narendra hissed and when Ranvijay didn't said anything he spoke,
"What happened last night?"
