Chapter-25
The cold chilly winds of the city hit Disha's face as soon as she stepped out in the balcony. The sky was coloured a beautiful shade of dark blue with a blanket of stars covering the whole sky. Her gaze was fixed on the crescent moon which even though was incomplete yet looked as beautiful as ever to her eyes. Her gaze travelled down at the streets which were lighted up by the street lights, out of which a few were flickering and few weren't even working. The road was completely barren with no sign of vehicle just a few pedestrians walking back to their houses and a few stray dogs roaming on the streets.
She was familiar with the city, for she had spent the longest time of her life here but what she was unfamiliar was the place where she was at. It can't be called a simple place it was a palace which was converted into a hotel and by it's architectural design one could easily comprehend that it was built in the medieval period. They were staying in a private suit and hence, no other person expect the workers were present there. While she was drowned in her thoughts gazing at the road, she felt a known presence behind her.
"What are you looking at?"
Ranvijay asked moving his gaze towards the road as well. He had came in this room for the second time since they have arrived here and Disha didn't knew where he was, neither did she cared to know.
"Nothing interesting to know,"
Disha replied not sparing Ranvijay even a single glance.
She hasn't forgotten how he brought her here without taking even a proper consent from her. He was persistent on his words and was adamant to bring her along with him. For all this while she was trying to understand the motive of his such unexpected actions and she could come to no conclusion on it.
"It's getting cold here, Rani sa, come inside,"
Ranvijay said when he felt her tightening her hold on the scarf she was wearing over her peach coloured saree as a gush of cold winds flew passing them.
"Tell me the truth, Rana ji. Why did you bring me here?"
Disha asked turning to look at Ranvijay instead of moving inside the room as he said.
On hearing her question for the tenth time since the time they have arrived here, Ranvijay just sighed yet choose to avoid her question as he had done all this while.
"You will know it soon but for now let's go inside. It's almost night, get some sleep, you must be tired."
"Let alone sleeping I am not even going to stay in the same room as you,"
She replied in fury while walking out of the room but before she could take a step out of the room, she was pulled back only to end up clashing against Ranvijay's chest.
