Chapter-20

Ranvijay's POV

"What are you doing?"

I heard her voice from outside the closet before the sound of her anklets made her presence aware in the room.

My gaze was still settled on the black tie in my hands which I was trying to tie for over fifteen minutes now.

"Rana ji,"

She stood in front of me frowning looking at my struggling state but I cared less about it as I have my focus still on the tie around my neck. The injury on my hand was causing a hindrance in my task as it wasn't allowing me to use my hand freely. I was now regretting my actions of yesterday which is giving me a tough time now.

As I was still involved in doing it, I felt two hands holding both ends of the tie and there wasn't a doubt in who it belonged to. She started to wrap it around my neck and then tie it. All the while, I stood there holding my hands behind my back in order to control myself from touching her in any way. I remember the actions of mine yesterday which were contradicting to the decision I had made to myself earlier and I certainly don't want to repeat the same thing again.

There is distance of miles between us and I want to maintain it no matter what. I haven't accepted her as my wife but still the fact she is daughter-in-law of this family as well as queen can't be denied. I have married her nonetheless of the reason. Hence, the respect should be given to her and I am the one to make sure it happens. Anything other then couldn't be provided by my site.

Whatever happened last night was still roaming in my mind and I wondered what got over me to hold her like the way I did. It isn't something which I want myself to do in any state as it might change alot of things which I certainly don't want. My each word and action will decide on the future and one thing for sure is that I don't want her to be here tied in an completely unnecessary relation like this.

While she stood there in front of me, my eyes darted over to her face which even though was beautiful, something that I wouldn't shy to accept, yet her face lacked many emotions. The only emotion she shows often is frown when she is displeased with something or a smirk whenever she wins an argument with me. Even though I have been avoiding her all this time yet I didn't fail to notice these minor actions of her.

Those eyes of her which were the very first thing I have noticed of her is an enchanting feature. Amber brown eyes with a hint of gold speaking determination and courage are so similar to that of a lioness filled with immense power and strength.

Further I noticed her attire, the pink coloured saree was looking beautiful on her skin. She wears a saree almost everyday and each one looks equally alluring on her giving more elegance to her sophisticated personality.

"Here,"

I looked at her hearing her word still in daze and she lifted her brows signalling towards the tie which was now neatly done around my neck.
