🍂Nicks Pov.🍂

Charlie leaned up and kissed the side of my cheek, causing me to smile before leaning in towards him in response, as I grabbed both sides of his small cheeks and went in for a more proper kiss.
The kiss deepened quickly and my arms hooked themselves around his slender frame, holding him against me as I lifted him up and onto our kitchen counter . His legs dangled on the side of my hips as he smiled up against my lips , and I could smell the vanilla bourbon cologne he had put on this morning after his shower. I smiled pulling away and groaned as I leaned my face into the side of his neck,
"Char ..you know that's not fair " I sighed against his soft skin.
He chuckled gently,
"Hm..no idea what you're talking about.."
but I could hear the cute little mischievous grin in his voice, something he was never good at hiding. And I loved it.
I loved him.

I smiled against his skin,
"Now you've done it.."

Before he could respond i wrapped my hands around and under neath his thighs, lifting him up off the counter and carried him half over my shoulder, on my way upstairs to our bedroom.
He laughed as his arms swung around
"Wait we can talk about this!!"
"What about the decorations!" He laughed and pointed past the stairs.

"Oh no no you're done for now Char" I laughed and carried him up the stairs.
"And they can wait" I smiled smugly.
He laughed as I gently dropped him onto our mattress
He smiled contently up at me
" Nicholas.. we're suppose to be decorating for the upcoming Halloween party"
"If you keep stealing me away to the room we'll never get it done at this point" but he was smiling as he leaned on his elbows, while I was already taking my shirt off.
" sorry, what was that?" I said confidently and coming back down to his view, my hand slowly roaming over his jaw and into the back of his curls.
He stared at me for a moment and looked down toward my abs and then back to my eyes again and gulped.
I chuckled, he was being very obvious.
"Uh..don't remember " he said grinning as he put his arms around my neck and pulled me onto him completely, our make out session finally continuing as I grabbed the covers and threw them over us in one swift motion. Charlie's cute giggling softening by the blanket in the room as I kissed his neck , my hand running up the side of his small tshirt..

Finally we came up for air, and we laughed together gently as he laid his head down on my chest. Both of our breathing slowly going back down to our rested states. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and held him close to my chest , his curls having turned abit wild, but I could feel his warm skin against mine as we cuddled up.
"Nick.." he said my name in question.
"Hm?" I replied
"We need to decorate" he laughed
I groaned and held him tighter
"Noooo"
He laughed
" I'll make you pie"
He looked up at me to see if I'd take the bribe.
I squinted down at him and sighed in defeat but grinned anyway,
" pie huh?"

"Mhmm.. but only if you get up and help me finish getting sorted" he stated
"Mm deal" I smiled and kissed his lips again but deeper, hoping to change his mind abit.
Didn't work for long, he could always see through my plans.

🍂Charlie's Pov.🍂

I reached up to hang the little floating bat in our small corridor , balanced on Nicks shoulders.
We'd spent about two hours decorating and setting up for our party.
"There.." I smiled as he took a step back for us to see it all together.
We had lined the floor of our tiny corridor with orange fairy lights, and hung little bats from the ceiling.
We were having a fall/Halloween party to carve pumpkins, eat Halloween themed snacks, and ofcourse, watch Halloween themed movies.
I had to convince Tao not to bring the super scary ones because Nick would be uncomfortable.
I have a good feeling Taos gonna try to sneak one in , anyway, though.

"Should we set the bobbing for apples up?" I said looking down at nick.
He nodded
"Good idea" he agreed and he carried me over to the kitchen.
He started searching around for the apples and I had to stop myself from laughing

"Hey Nick.." I said very clearly amused
"Yea?" He said as he grabbed the bag of apples off the counter and opened it.
"You do realize .. I'm still up here ?" I laughed
He paused and laughed
"Oh oops. Sorry char" he laughed embarrassed and carried me over to the couch to gently drop me down on it.
"Guess I was abit distracted" he chuckled and rubbed his neck.
I got up and straightened my shirt out ,
"You're still trying to figure my costume out aren't you" I said grinning going back to the kitchen
He followed me behind in a puppy like state.
"Come on char, just give me a hint yeah?" He begged, taking my hand and kissing the back of it.
I rolled my eyes but couldn't stop my grin.
"Fine... only one hint though" I gave in, he was just too cute not to give in to.
"Yess, go on then" he said eagerly, watching me as I washed the apples.
"There's a hat" I said plainly
"A hat? .."
"A hat.." he turned his back to the sink and had his arms crossed looking out toward the room trying to guess.
"Char that's a horrible hint" he groaned.
"Hey you said a hint , not a good hint"I grinned knowing I'd won.
"Okay then, I see how it is.. we'll I'm not telling you what I am then" he said with a bit of sass.
I scoffed at him and he smiled cheekily back at me, the sunset going down through our tiny kitchen window,letting gold light into the room.
"That's fine" I said smiling.
He grinned and leaned into kiss my cheek.

"So tao isn't bringing anything scary, right?" He said dropping the apples into a clean bucket on the counter.
"I tried to tell him, whether he actually listened or not is the question" I shook my head
Nick laughed nervously
"It's ok, you can cuddle into me for support" I said proudly
He smiled and nodded
"That is indeed a plus , I'll admit"

"You did great on the snacks Char, I'll call for pizza later once everyone is here" he said smiling at the spooky themed set up on the counter.
He had even made little cupcakes that had pumpkin faces on them.
I smiled and nodded,
"That sounds good. I think we have about an hour left to get ready before they start showing up!" I grinned at him.

"You still have to wait until then to see my costume thoughhh" I teased.
I had hidden it underneath our dresser that we shared, knowing he'd never look there for it.
He whined in response and I laughed taking his hand as we went up stairs to start getting ready. Our flat fully decked out in decorations and lights. .
