🤍 Charlie's Pov. ♥️

"Doctor Spring!!! Wait up!!" I heard my intern call after me as I trudged to my office, exhausted after a 16 hour shift.
I sighed taking my white coat off and hung it on the coat hanger in the corner of my office.
I went to close the door but he stopped it with his foot, I sighed, and smiled.
"Yes?" I said tiredly.

"What do I do with today's documents?!" He said looking down at his clip board.
I sighed trying to remain calm,
"You submit them with the records office. Down. Stairs." I said, pointing down.
His eyes went wide and he laughed ,
"Oh. Oops. Sorry Doctor, thank you! Have a good weekend!" He said hurrying off.
I closed the door and leaned up against behind it , yawning as I grabbed my coat and scarf, putting them on.
I hurried and packed my things up, leaving quietly through the busy hallways, as I kept my head down going through them.
Trying to go unnoticed, otherwise they would stop and ask me a million questions, and even ask me to stay longer.

I finally made it out of the elevator and out of the hospital waiting lounge. Trying not to be too obvious as I hurried to my car, I unlocked it and got in.
I sighed out loud, and yawned, terribly tired.
I looked down at the time on my phone.
Shit.
I have to hurry home and get ready for tonight's party.

I unlocked the door to my small flat, hurrying inside and locking it behind me as I hurried over to my bathroom, stripping down fast as I took a quick shower.
After hurrying, I got dressed , and fixed my hair.
I paused , yawning , and sighed.
I feel like I haven't slept in Forever.
But I had to stay awake.
It's my coworkers birthday party at this new bar down town.
She was expecting me.

I grabbed a button up and some jeans, throwing my shoes on as I grabbed her gift and my keys, heading out the door.

I headed into the bar after getting my ID checked, it was a brand new bar, so it was fairly packed already.
I hurried upstairs to find everyone at a booth doing shots,
"Charlieee!!!" Elle exclaimed seeing me, she hugged me tight.
"Happy birthday!!"
I laughed , putting her gift down with the others.
"Thank you for comingg, ugh you're the best. Let's do a shot?" She exclaimed taking my hands.
I nodded smiling waving at all our friends
We did shots and laughed together, talking and casually drinking.
Elle jumped up
"Okay I wanna dance , anyone down?" She said excitedly, throwing a shot back.
Tara, our other friend, jumped up and went with her excitedly.
I laughed as they convinced me to go with them, I downed my drink quickly for confidence, I made a face at the burning taste.
They laughed hurrying with me onto the dance floor, Elle knew I couldn't dance so she held my hands as we lazily moved them back and forth.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom! " I said into her ear over the loud music. She gave me a thumbs up and went back to dancing with Tara.

I made my way through the crowd, very drunk,
I sighed, knowing I should've eaten more today so I could have extra energy.
I'll just have to eat when I go home later.

I went to the bathroom and came out, and walked over to the bar. I heard loud cheering on the end of the bar table, a bunch of guys were yell in and cheering out
"Chug chug chug chug!"
I rolled my eyes.
Must be college students.

I flagged down one of the bartenders,
"What can I get you?" She smiled

I looked at the wall of alcohol, unsure.
" I'll take an espresso martini, please" I said yawning, and sitting down.
I looked over and noticed Tara and Elle dancing with our other friends.
I smiled, contently.
I was so lucky to have friends like them.
