Charlie's Pov.

I grabbed my bag out of the backseat of my car, closing it as I looked up .
A large bus was being loaded up by all the crew, everyone was dressed cozy. I fixed my scarf before locking my car and slowly yet awkwardly headed over.
I stood in line to put my bag underneath the carriage before going to go into the bus.
Tara spotted me , she was sat right up front.

"Charlie! Here! You can sit next to me!" She called out, I smiled and nodded, relieved. I didn't really know anyone very well except her at this point.
Nick I was stuck with .

I sat down , she had pink ear muffs on that matched her pink fuzzy gloves. "Nice gloves " I said
"Thanks! I just got them " she smiled.

"Alright, that's it! We're heading out! "
The driver said, closing the doors.
I looked around as I turned briefly , then looked at Tara.
"Is Nick not going?" I asked
She smiled,
"Oh he's already there"

I smirked,
"Already?!"

"Yup, he doesn't like taking public transportation, he only ever takes his private car everywhere with his driver. Normally he has me ride with him but I didn't want you to be alone on the bus so I said he'd have to go alone this time " she smiled.

I blinked and smiled,
"Thanks Tara.. I don't really know anyone too well except you so I appreciate that"

She laughed,
"Don't worry, you will eventually!"

Two hours went by until we finally pulled into the Skii Lodge Resort. .

Everyone huddled off the bus to grab their bags, I managed to get mine and followed everyone up to check into our rooms.
I ended up being the last person to sign up , I waited behind a crew member.
I nervously played with the end of my scarf as I looked over and noticed Tara laughing with Nick.
He was dressed up in a long sleeve Henley and some baggy Cargo pants. I gulped , my eyes darting down fast.
Trying to get the outline of his biceps and outline of his abs through his well fitted long sleeve Out of my mind.
I noticed the girl in front of me was done so I walked up, setting my bag down.
"Hi , welcome to-" the lady started off.
I blinked as I watched everyone go up the stairs and others take the elevator.
Tara and Nick went up stairs with everyone else, as he carried her bag .
Is he.. is he into her?.. is that why he's always by her side so much?...
Wait I thought she was married -

"Sir?" The lady said trying to get my attention.
"Oh, sorry.." I said snapping out of my curiosity.

"No problem, as I was saying, I can't check you in dear.." she said.
I was confused.

"Wait why not? I'm part of the -" I started, my hand pointing at the steps where everyone had just went up.

"Yes I know, but unfortunately all the rooms are full now..even the double shared rooms are full. Normally we don't allow it, but since you are on the list you could try to bunk with someone?" She suggested.

I felt my facial expression fall,
"Oh..no, uhm, that's fine, thank you" I said , unsure of what to do.
I turned away as she apologized, and went and sat down on a wooden carved out bench near the front entrance.

What do I do?..
I looked around at all the lodgers smiling and relaxing by the fireplace.
And then I noticed everyone starting to come back down after getting settled in.
I panicked as I looked around.

I hurried over to the fireplace and took a book out of my bag quickly and pretended to read.
Trying to calm down as I figured out what to do.
Oh, maybe Tara will let me bunk with her!?
Yeah,
I sighed of relief as everyone came in laughing and chatting as they grabbed snacks and drinks from the bar outside of the common living room area.
"Charlie! You haven't put your stuff away yet?" Tara said surprised, Nick had been looking at the menu and noticed she came over to me and sighed, He rolled his eyes as he came over as well, shoving his hands in his pockets as he watched, annoyed.
I tried to ignore him and focused on Tara.
"Oh no, hah not yet.. I probably will later. I really wanted to finish my book by the fire place first" I said holding it up sheepishly.
She laughed and nodded, she sat down on the sofa chair across from me.
"I totally get it, I don't have a fireplace either so I can't wait to hang out next to it and drink hot chocolate!" She squeaked.
I laughed and nodded, agreeing.
