Charlie's Pov.

I laid my back down across Taos bed, and huffed as I covered my face with both my hands, frustrated after my confession to Nick a week prior... Tao, Elle and Aled all sat on the bed. Amused..
"Okay, how Exactly did you tell him?!" Elle asked. I groaned, before uncovering my face.
I stared up at Taos bedroom ceiling, and recalled it. I reached my arms up in the air , my left hand was nick, and I was my right,  in my simple demonstration.

"I ran out after him in the rain , gave him the umbrella, then kissed his cheek and told him to consider it as my confession."
I dropped my arms to my side, dramatically..
"And then I ran away like a coward.. and now he's at Uni.."
I peeked over at them.
They made faces...

"Well?.." I asked.
Tao cringed..
"Charlie, what ridiculous movie did you get that idea from?"

I let out an exasperated sigh,
" I didn't .."

Tao looked at Aled,
"Yikes...worse then I thought "
Aled nodded .

"Elleeeee what do I do. He's off at Uni now.
I'll never see him again!!!
How am I suppose to find out his answer??!!" I whined.

We talked and laughed, and they did their best to cheer me up. .
After that I only ever heard about Nick from Tori when she visited home every two weeks..
She had said he had a girlfriend...
I was pretty heartbroken for awhile..

1 Year Later

Tori came home to visit from Uni, just to visit and  have dinner for my birthday, dad even baked a cake. .
His normal food was bland...
But, his birthday cakes he made us, were always surprisingly Perfect.

I stood in the mirror as I lightly towel dried my hair..
I heard Tori come through the front door as our parents greeted her, and she said they were heading up to her room for abit until dinner was ready.
I remembered she said she was bringing Michael along earlier that day, as I heard their footsteps make their way up the staircase and down the hall to her room. The door closing shut.
Her and Michael hung out in her room chatting about some book she was reading  , as I walked down the hall, wearing my bathrobe.
The doorbell rang downstairs.

"Charlie, can you get that please ? " I heard dad call out from below.
I groaned , and sighed as I walked down the staircase, wearing only and just only my navy blue bathrobe..

I sighed tying it tightly around my waist, before I opened the door.
My eyes huge as I stood there in total shock.

And there, dressed in jeans and a white button up shirt..looking just as perfect as he did the last day I seen him.... was Nick.

I gulped.
My heart thumped.

He looked surprised at first, but then smiled.
"Hello there.."

I stared as I slowly and awkwardly stepped aside as he came in, before he turned to look at me.
I realized my robe was open as I quickly covered my chest.. embarrassed.

Why the hell is it that whenever I see him I look like total hell..
More importantly.... why is he here?!?!!

"Sorry to interrupt, Tori invited me since I'm in town visiting too.. Is that okay?" He asked.

I just shrugged. Trying hard to act like I didn't care and that my heart was jumping around in my stomach.
"Sure." I said.
