Momo tugged at the bottom of her shirt, dressed up for the meeting about to take place. The young woman couldn't remember the last time she had to wear such formal clothing. Which is why the short heels were a little uncomfortable since they weren't commonly worn. The ex-thief sat in a formal waiting area of the hospital as a few board members and other staff walked by. Finally, Dr. Maxoff appeared to greet her.

"Ready for this?" he questioned. They made their way down the hall to a meeting room.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Momo answered.

When the doctor got in touch with her that a handful of individuals had responded to his email about their interest in the project Donatello and her quickly set to work. They collected all of the important notes, included the latest developments in their tests, organized their data, images, and video logs, before laying it out into a cohesive presentation. Momo performed mock demonstrations of how she'd address Dr. Maxoff and his colleagues. Then they bounced words and responses off one another if something didn't sound quite right. And the purple turtle pretended to be the individuals in attendance who had never seen the plans before.

Even though their practices had gone well and it seemed that Donatello prepared her for every scenario, the young woman still felt nervous. She glanced over the notecards one last time before she headed home for the evening. The purple turtle noticed her nerves and quickly pressed a kiss to the corner of her lips. The action startled the human, staring up at the mutant.

"You don't need to be worried," he stated. "You've got this."

A grin spread across her lips. "That was very spontaneous of you."

He blushed and went to apologize when a finger pressed against his lips to prevent that.

"It's good to be spontaneous, Donatello. And you helped me stop worrying about tomorrow."

"Y-Your welcome."

Momo left for the garage to start up the motorcycle when the purple turtle rushed to catch up.

"I can drop by your place later?" he wondered. "To find out how the presentation went?"

"Of course, I've got errands to run so I may not be back until late anyway." The young woman straddled the bike and slipped on the helmet. "Let yourself in if I'm not there yet. Did you want me to make dinner?"

"I can eat before I head over."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Good luck."

Momo grinned, "Thanks," flipping down the visor and turning on the engine.

Dr. Maxoff led her into a room where five individuals waited. They were dressed in business attire instead of their doctor coats. All of them smiled warmly in greeting, which eased the ex-thief.

"Everyone, this is Momo Cheong," Dr. Maxoff introduced. "Momo, my colleagues: Dr. Sherri McLoughlin, Dr. Greta Thurman, Dr. Joseph Ramsay, Dr. Dhruv Patel, and Dr. Suu Aung."

"It's nice to meet all of you," the young woman said.

She knew every one of them, having either studied their research in class or just reading up on their practices on her own time. They were all highly respected in their field of expertise.

"Thank you for taking time out of your day to speak with me."

"Dr. Maxoff was very adamant that we meet," Dr. McLoughlin stated. "And I have to say the brief we received was rather intriguing."
