Chapter 2: Love at first sight

Meenakshi leaves the room throwing Arjun into his thoughts.

Arjun recollects his love at first sight for Meenakshi.

Five years ago...
Arjun was back in India after about 10 years, to attend his cousin's wedding. His younger brother Pruthvi, was at his best friend's place in Delhi. Pruthvi insists Arjun to travel with him from Delhi to Udaipur. 

Amidst the heavy downpour and traffic jams, Arjun reaches the location. Arjun calls his brother up who fails to pick the call up. Frustrated Arjun starts looking around the place.

He notices a girl dancing in the rain with a few kids. Her personality attracts Arjun. He clicks a picture of hers from his camera and makes a plan to use it for the photography contest. Just then, he sees his brother coming towards her with an ice cream in his hands.

"Meenu... this is the last icecream I'm giving you. No more drama.... we'll have to leave. My brother will be here any moment...." says Pruthvi to Meenakshi.

"Let us enjoy. Your brother will also join us. You needn't catch a train or a flight. It's a chartered plane...." says Meenakshi.

"My brother will thrash both of us...." says Pruthvi.

Just then, Meenakshi's mother shouts out from the balcony, "kids.... get in.... Pruthvi, it's your brother's third call dear. Come and answer your phone" said she.

Pruthvi holds Meenakshi's hand and both of them rush in as they were well aware of Arjun's temper.

Arjun watches the whole scene despite being not able to hear their words. Meenakshi's eyes were speaking more to Arjun than her lips. As he watches Pruthvi holding Meenakshi's hand, he gets jealous of him. 

Arjun recollects the girls name. "I remember the girl's name as Meena.... Meena Shastri... Let me search for her on social media...." says he to himself and starts browsing all social media platforms.

He fails to find the correct account as her name was Meenakshi Shastri. After trying for about 10 minutes, he gives up the idea, assuming that she isn't on social media.

He starts editing the photo to make it fit for the photography contest. While his editing is still in progress, he notices the girl and his brother coming towards him.  He instantly closes the laptop and acts as if he is busy with his mobile.
