Falling for the Prince

Chapter 17: Get out....

A door knock disturbs Meenakshi's flow of thoughts. "Sir, this is the milk you messaged me to get....." says the person at the door. He was none other than Arjun's personal servant Meenaksh.

Arjun nods his head to let him in. "But, I didn't understand one point... From when did you start believing in Indian Medicine?" asked he. Arjun just indicates with his eyes that the milk is for Meenakshi.

"Ohh... So, you are telling me to stay quiet as she is here? Ah, it's alright. I'll tell her also. Madam, our boss never believes in Indian Medicine. Even for a small cut, he would contact the doctor taking a long list of costly allopathic medicines. Getting an electric shock is easier than looking at the amount he pays to the doctor. Applying turmeric is a free of cost medication that he never understands...." continued Meenaksh.

Arjun was badly staring at him. "And, by the way.... What are you doing here Ms. Meenakshi? This is my boss' room, right!" asked Meenaksh surprisingly.  Meenakshi just waves the hair dryer in her hand while trying to dry her hair.

"Oh! So you've come here for a hair dryer" Meenaksh answered his question.

Meenakshi smiles. "You could have taken it from the younger prince Pruthvi. You are his best friend, afterall!" Meenakshi switches the dryer off and says, "he is fast asleep. He will not be awake before 7AM and it's still 5:55 AM now...."

"Yeah...." says Meenaksh.
"He is lazy....." says Meenakshi.
"I agree...." says Meenaksh.

Meenakshi and Arjun were staring at Meenaksh. So, he decides to change the topic.

"You've changed my boss for good... I must say, you take good care of my master... I must thank you for it...." says Meenaksh. Meenakshi doesn't understand anything. But Arjun understands everything. Meenaksh was trying to hint Meenakshi about Arjun's feelings for her.

"Meenaksh... Go, Clean my study table" says Arjun.
"Let me speak...." says Meenaksh.
"Get out...." Saying this, Arjun holds Meenakshi's shoulders, pushes him out of the room and locks the door up.

He turns towards Meenakshi and says, "Please don't mind. His behaviour is extremely childish.... He never behaves according to his age...."
"He is actually sweet.... but, I've seen a totally different version of yours....I never knew that the elder prince of Udaipur is so friendly with people.... Especially, for people who work for him... " says Meenakshi.

"Haha... So I am .. but only for a few people...." said Arjun.

"You can't kick me out like that .... I am gonna go complain to his majesty!" shouted Meenaksh.

"Do whatever you want to... You'll have to return to me....." replied Arjun carelessly. Meenakshi was laughing out loud.

"Ahh... I'm leaving....." said Meenaksh, stomping his feet and walking away.

"Bye Meenu...." shouted Arjun. There was no reply from the other side.

"What a weird name....." said Meenakshi.

"His name has a story.... Do you wanna hear it??" Asked Arjun.
"Definitely...." said Meenakshi.
