About 15 minutes later, Meenakshi and Pruthvi come to the car. The sky was clear and the sun was shining bright by then.
Meenakshi was wearing a sky blue frock. Her hair was open and still wet. This look of Meenakshi was a magnet attracting Arjun's heart towards her. Meenakshi walks along with Pruthvi. When Pruthvi opens the door to get in, Arjun silently clicks a few pictures of hers.
Arjun gets busy with a call from his cousins.
"Enjoy yourself at the wedding. Don't forget to write a letter to me as soon as you decide your graduation stream.... All the best" says she.
"Definitely. I'll miss you.... I'll call you atleast once a week...." says Pruthvi.
"Alright.... take care" says Meenakshi.
Pruthvi gets into the car and the car moves away. Fifteen minutes later....
"So.. is she your friend?" Asked Arjun.
"Yes bro" replies Pruthvi.
"Interesting....Her name?"
"Meenu"
"Cool.... Why was she asking you to write even in the telephone era?"
"She believes that a handwritten note conveys more feelings than what chatter and blabber can"
"Meenu... writing.... interesting... very interesting...." said Arjun to himself.
Arjun closes his eyes to relax and gets lost in Meenakshi's world. The car reaches the airport.
A door knock disturbs Arjun and throws him back into the real world. It was a servent at the door. "Your majesty, the Queen awaits your arrival" says he.
"I'll be there" says Arjun.
In a short while, Arjun reaches the hall where the King and Queen of Udaipur, Mr. Rajveer Thakur and Mrs. Malvika Thakur were present. Pruthvi, Meenakshi, her parents- Dr.Gayathri and Mr. Ravi and her brother were also present.
Arjun just sits on a sofa. He notices the changes in Meenakshi's expression on his arrival. Meenakshi's brother Maanas was also not very happy looking at Arjun.
Nobody speaks a word but keeps looking at each other. Arjun breaks this silence.
"Aunty, uncle, I know that our marriage had taken place in a rush and in absence of you all. All of you might be having a thought of just forgetting it and moving on. There are many reasons for this and I accept that. I'm in love with Meenakshi and I don't want to let her go...." says Arjun. He pauses and takes a look at each one's expression.
There were no expressions on his parents faces. Meenakshi's parents and Pruthvi were shocked whereas Meenakshi and Maanas were unhappy.
