Summery: Red Ketchum returns. How will Ash handle his absent father's return?

Title is this is me trying by Taylor Swift

After an exhilarating victory in the World Coronation Series, Ash Ketchum returned home to Pallet Town with a mix of emotions. He had finally achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a Pokémon Master, but there was a looming sense of unfinished business that gnawed at him.

As Ash stepped into his childhood home, he was surprised to find his father, Red Ketchum, sitting quietly in the living room. The atmosphere was tense, and Ash's mother, Delia, stood nearby, her face a portrait of concern.

"Ash," Delia said softly, "your father wanted to talk to you."

Ash's eyes met Red's, and he felt a surge of anger and confusion. "Dad, what are you doing here? After all these years, you just show up now?"

Red sighed heavily, his gaze fixed on the floor. "Ash, I've been away, training on Mount Silver. I thought it was the only way to become stronger."

"But you left, Dad," Ash retorted, his voice filled with hurt. "You left me and Mom without a word. I grew up not knowing you, and you expect me to just welcome you back with open arms?"

Tears welled up in Delia's eyes as she watched her family unravel before her. She interjected, "Maybe it's best if you leave, Red. It's been a long time, and Ash has had to become the man he is without you."

Red nodded, understanding the weight of his absence. He got up, his footsteps heavy as he headed for the door. Before he could leave, Ash stopped him.

"Dad, wait," Ash said, his anger giving way to a deep sadness. "I've always wondered why you left. But even though you were gone, you were never forgotten. You're still my father, and I do care."

Red turned back to Ash, his eyes filled with a mix of regret and hope. "I didn't think you'd care. I didn't want to be a disappointment."

Ash shook his head, his own eyes misty. "You're not a disappointment, Dad. You're my inspiration. You're the reason I chased my dreams to become a Pokémon Master. I've always wanted to make you proud."

The room fell silent as father and son stood face to face, their emotions laid bare. Red finally spoke, his voice filled with emotion, "I'm sorry, Ash. I should've been there for you."

Ash walked up to his father and embraced him tightly. "It's okay, Dad. We can start over. We have the rest of our lives to be a family."

Delia smiled through her tears, relieved to see her husband and son finding common ground. It was a moment of healing and reconciliation, a chance for Ash and Red to forge a new relationship built on understanding and love. The Ketchum family had weathered their storm, and from that day forward, they were determined to make up for lost time and create new memories together.
