The celebration for Ash's victory at the World Coronation Series was in full swing. Friends from different regions had gathered to honor the Pokémon Trainer who had achieved the pinnacle of success. Serena stood on the edge of the lively gathering, her eyes fixed on Ash, who was surrounded by his friends.

May, with her usual energetic enthusiasm, noticed Serena's distant gaze and decided to snap her out of it. She poked her friend and grinned. "Hey, Serena, what's got you so lost in thought? There's a feast going on!"

Serena blinked, tearing her eyes away from Ash for a moment. "Oh, May, I was just... never mind." She shook her head, feeling a bit embarrassed by her own preoccupation.

But as May left to grab more food, Serena's attention drifted back to Ash. She couldn't help it; he was surrounded by people who admired and respected him, and her heart swelled with pride.
