Summery: Ash decides he has chosen death by reading Serena's diary. Can he save himself? 😂

Title is New Years Day

Ash had never been one to snoop around, but that day, temptation got the better of him. Serena had left her diary on the coffee table, and with her in the shower, his curiosity got the best of him. He glanced around guiltily before picking up the journal and starting to flip through its pages.

As he read Serena's thoughts and feelings, he couldn't help but smile at the sweet and heartfelt entries. It was clear just how much she cared about him and cherished their relationship. However, he couldn't shake the feeling that he was intruding on her privacy.

Just as he was about to put the diary down, he heard the sound of the shower turning off. Panicking, he quickly placed the diary back where he found it, hoping Serena wouldn't notice.

Serena walked into the room, her hair wrapped in a towel and another draped around her body. She looked stunning, and Ash couldn't help but admire her in that moment.

Serena, however, noticed something was amiss. She saw the diary slightly askew on the table, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. "Ash," she said, her voice sharp, "have you been reading my diary?"

Ash tried to hide his guilt, but Serena's perceptive gaze made it impossible. "I... I'm sorry, Serena," he admitted, feeling ashamed. "I shouldn't have done that."

Serena's anger flared for a moment, her cheeks flushed with irritation. "Ash, that's my private journal. You had no right to read it."

Before Ash could respond, Serena turned to walk away, clearly upset. But he couldn't let her leave like this. He rushed to her, gently taking her face in his hands and turning her to face him.

"I know, Serena, and I'm really sorry," he said sincerely. "I just couldn't resist, but I shouldn't have invaded your privacy."

Serena's anger began to subside as she looked into his apologetic eyes. She knew that Ash had made a mistake out of curiosity, not malice. Her anger turned into a sigh, and she shook her head.

Ash took a step closer, his voice tender and filled with love. "I promise, Serena, I'll never do something like that again."

Serena couldn't stay mad at him, not when he looked at her with such remorse and affection. She leaned in, capturing his lips in a sweet and forgiving kiss.

As they pulled away, Serena smiled at him, her anger dissipating. "Alright, Ash," she said, "just remember that some things are meant to be kept private."

Ash nodded, grateful for her forgiveness. He knew he had learned his lesson, and he was determined to make it up to her by respecting her boundaries and cherishing their relationship even more.
