It had been a year since Ash became World Monarch and Serena had become Kalos Queen and Top Coordinator of Hoenn, Ash surprised Serena at the Master Class and in front of the whole stadium declared his love for her and asked her to be his Queen. Of course within a few hours Ash's mother and the rest of his mysterious family found out and wanted to meet Serena immediately but luckily Ash was able to hold them off for at least a few months.

" Please don't embarrass me tonight mom." Ash pleaded with his mother as she cooked dinner.

" Relax it's just going to be me , Kukai, Burnet, Lei, and your sisters, You have nothing to worry about, besides I want to meet the girl who not only stole my son's heart but broke through his dense shell!" Delia replied.

" I wasn't dense!" Ash argued.

" Yes, you were!" Dawn retorted as she came downstairs.

" I thought you were with your mom." Ash inquired.

" No, it's Mama Delia's turn to have me....Joint custody what can I say?" Dawn shrugged.

" Has anyone seen my favorite dress?" Diantha asked as she too came downstairs.

" You left it in Kalos." Dawn rolled her eyes.

" I did?!" Ash and Dawn rolled their eyes at each other at Diantha's response.

A few hours later Kukai, Brunet and Lei arrived. Delia and Brunet were finishing up the cooking, Dawn and Diantha were playing with baby Lei and Ash was pacing in nervousness and anticipation. Suddenly the doorbell rang.

" I'll get it! No one else get it!" Ash demanded. Dawn and Diantha shared an eye roll. ( sorry for the various eye rolls)

" Hey Sere." Ash greeted as suave as he could upon opening the door to see his girlfriend.

" bonjour mon cher"Serena wrapped her arms around Ash's neck and kissed him passionately. ( Hello my dearest)

" Séréna ! Quel plaisir de vous revoir ! Ça fait tellement longtemps!" Diantha interrupted. (Serena! How lovely to see you again! It's been so long!)

" Diantha, qu'est-ce que tu fais ici ?" Serena asked. ( Diantha, what are you doing here?)

" J'habite ici. Ash est mon petit frère." ( I live here. Ash is my little brother)

" I really should learn how to speak Kalosian." Ash muttered to himself. The poor boy couldn't understand a word his sister and his girlfriend were saying.

" Are you going to introduce us?" Delia asked from the kitchen doorway.

" Oh! Serena, This is my mother Delia, my surrogate parents Professors Kukai and Burnet, my surrogate little sister Dawn and my surrogate little brother Lei. You already know Diantha. Everyone, this is Serena Yvonne, my girlfriend." Ash introduced. " My dad is out at Mt.Silver. He never stops training so I hardly see him." Ash explained.

" Bonjour Madam Ketchum, Monsieur Kukai, Madam Burnet, Mademoiselle Dawn." Serena nodded politely.

" Come sit, Ash told me you enjoy Marseille Shrimp Stew and Ratatouille." Delia smiled.

As everyone sat down, Delia served the food and then the drinks which was Gini, another Kalosian thing, lastly she served Fruit tart and Beignets.

" Mama Delia, why is everything Kalosian?" Dawn asked.

" Because Serena's Kalosian and mom is trying to impress her." Ash retorted.

" So Serena, we heard you are Kalos Queen and the Top Coordinator of Hoenn, what do your parents do?" Brunet asked.

" Maman (mama)is a Rhyhorn Racer and I've never known my papa." Serena replied.

" How long have you two known each other?" Dawn butted in.

" I'll tell them." Ash reassured. " It started when we were 6 years old and we were at Professor Oak's summer camp. I had started chasing a poliwag after Gary kept bragging he would catch the most Pokémon at camp. I found her lost in the forest. She had hurt her knee so I helped her back to camp. We didn't see each other again until I went on my journey to Kalos and she saw me falling from Prism Tower."

" You did what?" Delis asked dangerously.

Realizing what he had said at the end, Ash replied with " Nothing!"

" We will be discussing this later young man." Delia glared.

" Serena, tell us more about yourself." Kukai urged.

" Well, You already know I am from Kalos, you know my favorite food and what I do. Let's see..... When I'm not preforming I ride our Rhyhorn through the open fields, I love fashion, I can play the piano and the violin, I love singing and dancing, I just love literature and the art of Gincent Van Voah ( you know who I mean but I needed to change his name for the Pokémon world)." Serena chirped.

" How is your duo with Lisia doing by the way?" Ash asked.

" Lisia's uncle Wallace has offered me a solo record deal a few months ago."Serena explained softly.

" And?"

" And I have accepted. My debut album is recorded and will be released next week. He also contacted Madam Palermo, who has offered me a role in a movie and I accepted that as well."

" Serena that's amazing!" Ash exclaimed. How exciting that his girlfriend was making a name for herself worldwide!

" I only agreed on one condition. That you be the male lead." Serena was quite nervous about his reaction to making this decision without consulting him first.

" Cool! I'll do it!" And with that Serena could breathe easily again.

Just wait till he finds out what the plot is..... ( It's called Girls of the Chorus. It's literally just Marilyn Monroe's movie Ladies of the Chorus)

" Diantha, do you remember Raquelle Du Berry?" Serena asked.

" She played one of the older side characters in my movie ' My Dear Lady'. She is going to be in this movie?"

" She is playing my mother in the film and I was wondering if you had an idea of what she is like on set."

" You should have no problem with her except with her constant tardiness and her not remembering your name."

With that the discussion of the movie was over for now. But the rest of the evening Serena got along wonderfully with her boyfriend's family and at the end of the night Ash walked her to the guest room.

" Mom insists you stay tonight." He explained sheepishly.

"I don't mind, it just means I get to spend more time with you mon cher." Serena giggled.

" Goodnight My Queen."

" bonne nuit ma chérie, je t'aime jusqu'à la lune et retour." Serena gave him a kiss before winking and closing the door. ( Goodnoght my dearest, I love you to the moon and back)

Ash just slumped against the wall in a lovesick daze.
