After an exhilarating victory at the World Coronation Series, Ash finally returned home to Pallet Town, where he was met with an enthusiastic welcome from his friends. Gary, always one for playful teasing, couldn't resist a sly grin as he greeted Ash, "Well, well, Ashy-Boy, look who's back as the world champion!"

Ash chuckled and shot back, "Come on, Gary, cut it out, you big oak tree."

Misty playfully punched Ash on the arm, a mischievous glint in her eyes, and he couldn't help but be slightly annoyed. "Ouch, Misty, that's not how you welcome a champion!"

Brock, on the other hand, had tears in his eyes as he approached Ash. "Ash, I'm so proud of you," he choked out, pulling Ash into a tight hug.

May rushed by with a big plate of food, giving Ash a quick "Hi!" on her way to the buffet table, her enthusiasm for the party's delicious spread unmatched.

Max, ever the aspiring Pokémon Trainer, couldn't resist a challenge. "Hey, Ash, I've been training hard! How about a battle?"

Dawn, looking up at Ash with her big, hopeful eyes, clung to his ankle like a little girl. "Ash, you haven't called me 'your little sister' in forever!"

Iris chimed in, admitting, "You've grown up a lot, Ash. You're not a little kid anymore."

In the midst of all this, Cilan found himself awkwardly comforting a still-teary-eyed Brock, trying to reassure him that these were happy tears.

Unfortunately, Clemont and Bonnie couldn't make it to the celebration due to prior commitments, but their absence didn't dampen the spirits of the partygoers.

Ash made his way around, saying hello to old friends like Lillie, Mallow, and Lana, but when he saw Serena, his face lit up with joy. He was happiest to see her, and for the rest of the party, he hardly left her side. Every chance he got, he flirted with her, showing that while he might have grown as a Trainer, some things never change, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
