Once upon a time in a small village out in the country lived a couple who were expecting their first child. Next door to them lived an old witch named Jessie ( sorry Jessie... I love you)The wife craved the moonflowers in the witches garden. " Husband, I fear if I don't have them, I shall die!" The wife said.

The husband was very devoted to his wife and decided to get the flowers for her. However the witch caught him. " You dare trespass on my land!" Jessie exclaimed.

"Please Madam, my wife is with child!" The husband cried.

" You may take as many Moonflowers as you need HOWEVER when your wife gives birth to the child you shall give her to me!" Jessie stated. The husband nodded and ran back to his wife. A few months later the baby was born. The witch arrived shortly, taking the child and making sure the husband wouldn't go back on his deal.

Jessie took the child to a tower in the woods and named the baby girl, Serena. ( Serena's name is similar to Selene which means moon)For the flowers from her garden. As the years past, Serena grew more beautiful than ever. Her hair was 70 feet of honey blonde, her eyes an ocean blue and her skin pale from staying in the tower. The tower had no doors just one window at the very top and everyday the witch would call
"'Serena! Let down your hair!" And every time Serena would throw her hair down to the witch so the witch could climb up.

One day the Prince of the kingdom was out riding on his horse, Pikachu, when he heard beautiful singing coming from the woods. He turned to his guards Drew and Paul( who was courting the prince's little sister), and his friend Gary and told them to head back to the castle without him. That's when he chanced upon the tower. Seeing no doors confused Prince Ash but has soon as he heard the witch coming, he hid.

" Serena! Let down your hair!" Jessie called as usual.

Prince Ash snuck a peek at the face of the girl with the long hair. He had to stifle a gasp. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen! Instead of leaving, he remained hidden, waiting to have the opportunity to speak to the enchanting girl. He waited for hours before the witch finally left.

" Serena! Let down your hair!" He called.

Thinking the witch wanted to climb back up, Serena let down her hair again. Ash smirked and climbed. When he climbed through the window, Serena gasped for she had never seen a man before. " Hello fair maiden, I take it you're Serena?"The prince asked.

" Yes, I am. Who are you?" She asked wearily.

" I am Prince Ash. Tell me my lady, how long have you been up here?"The prince asked.

" My entire life. Mother keeps me here to protect me." Serena replied.

" To protect you? From what?"

" I don't know."

Ash and Serena talked for hours before he had to leave at sunrise. They continued seeing each other for a few weeks before Serena blew the entire secret. On that day Ash was especially late to escaping before the witch got there.
" Ash, you must hurry! She'll be here soon!" Serena cried.

Luckily he made it out 10 minutes before Jessie arrived. " Serena! Let down your hair!" Jessie called out. Serena did as told as she always did. Unfortunately she blurted out without thinking." Why is it you are so hard to pull up when my prince is with me in a near moment?"

This infuriated the witch." You deceitful girl! I kept you hidden from the world!" Jessie raged. In her rage she cut Serena's hair. She then preformed a spell and sent Serena to the desert. That night Ash arrived with no idea his true love was not there. " Serena Let down your hair!" He called. Upon climbing through the window he found the witch.

Seeing the witch frightened him especially as she prepared to cast a spell on him. He jumped out the window before she could. Unfortunately he hit the thorns and became blind. Then he started searching for Serena. Yes, he went searching for her BLIND!

Months later he came upon the desert. Serena saw him and ran to him. He collapsed in her arms. As she cried a tear fell and healed his eyes. Seeing her again filled him with joy and he kissed her and took her to his castle. They were married months later and lived happily ever after.
