Summery: Serena is clearly upset and Ash comforts her. Proving once and for all that he is her sunshine in the midst of her rain.

Title is Midnight Rain
( Yes I already did it but I wanted to use these lyrics)

The rain fell heavily as Serena stood outside her home, tears mixing with the raindrops. She had just confronted her father, Mohn, and the revelation had left her shaken and upset. Ash, concerned for his girlfriend, rushed out into the rain to find her.

"Serena! What's wrong?!" Ash exclaimed, worry etched across his face as he approached her.

Tears streamed down Serena's face as she tried to compose herself. "All this time, Ash, I thought it was my fault that he left. But it's his fault!" She cried out. "He has another family." She paused to catch her breath and continued, "Cynthia, Lillie, and Gladion... they're my half-siblings."

Ash was taken aback, his eyes widening in shock. "Wait, Cynthia is Lillie and Gladion's big sister? She's your big sister?!" The revelation left him in disbelief.

Serena nodded, her voice quivering. "And if she gets married, Steven Stone will be my brother-in-law."

Ash realized that this revelation had shaken Serena to her core, but he put aside his own confusion and wrapped his arms around her, offering comfort and support. He held her close, murmuring words of reassurance as the rain continued to pour down.

Then, as if on cue, something extraordinary happened. The rain suddenly stopped, and the clouds parted, allowing the sun's warm rays to shine through. Serena looked up, the tears still glistening on her cheeks, but now there was a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

"How do you always know what to say to cheer me up?" Serena asked, her voice filled with gratitude and love as she gazed at Ash.

Ash smiled, brushing a rain-soaked strand of hair away from Serena's face. "Because I'll always be here for you, no matter what. We'll face whatever challenges come our way, together." As they stood there, drenched from the rain but feeling a sense of renewal in the sunshine, their bond grew even stronger.
