First Epilogue!!!

Just to warn you all, there will be two epilogues and both are going to be very, very long. So like always, I do recommend you read this when you have some extra time on your hands. Also, both epilogues will have both Luke and Alaina's POV's which is also why it is very long.

This first epilogue will be about the awaited wedding!!!! 💒💍

Again, I'd like to thank you all so much for the support you have given to the two main characters, Luke and Alaina, as well as the story itself and the beautiful sweet comments and messages you have left. It has truly meant the world to me. 💝💘

Anyways, as always, I hope you enjoy your reading time

🌘 Luke

As long as Alaina and I were made as official wife and husband, I couldn't care less about much else. But the women in my family begged to differ. They were more than eager to plan the best wedding in decades – their words not mine.

In all honesty, I think Alaina would had the same thoughts on the wedding with the exception of flower arrangements which I knew she would. It was the one hobby and enjoyment she had chosen out of pure fascination and joy.

I knew I did something right by requesting the gardeners at the diner a month ago to dye all the white roses they had. The clear delight on her face was priceless. Her soft brown eyes twinkled against the falling sun and her soft pink lips parted to release a content sigh at the sight of the deep blue rose garden.

Blue roses. True Love. Alaina and me.

Even today, with the guidance of my mother, Sofia, Rei, and the florists involved, the church was decorated with the same deep blue roses that stood out all the more against the dainty white roses.

It reminded me of her dress, the dress she chose and the dress I formally proposed to.

She was soft and sweet like the white roses, but I knew well that she could be bold and headstrong like the deep blue ones. And I was sure I was one lucky man to be the only one who could see her unrestrained self on the daily.

The seats within the church began to fill in with families and higher-class soldiers and some other crime families including the American-Russian Bratva in which Sofia was a part of, as well as the Yakuza siblings who were probably going to make a comeback to the American crime life, had accepted the invitation.

Chatters filled the space while my own head was filled with nerves I've never experienced before.

What was I even nervous about?

"Scared she's going to become a runaway bride?" Ash taunts beside me. I swear to fucking God that him and Alaina had managed to become closer friends than we are. Every chance they get they have always managed to piss me off.

Like slipping away and fucking with my head.

Of course, she left to go party away with Rei and Sofia or go on their 'girl's day out', but it never fails to make me go into a full-blown panic mode realising she's not there. I swear they do this on purpose and it seems like Rei and Sofia were also on this too.

"She's not going to run away."

"If you say so." He replies and before I could say anything back, the sounds of the pipe organs began to flow and the doors behind us slowly open, to reveal the woman had successfully made a comfortable home in a part of my heart.
