(Clever name I know)

"Shit. Please don't do this to me you stupid car! Ughhhhh" Dan yelled as his car started making strange noises and slowed down. Dan pulled into a parking lot of a hotel. He got out of the car to take a look in the front.

"Ugh. Fuck you" Dan said. One of the things were broken. (I don't know anything about cars???)

"I need to call Ray for him to come over here to pick me up" Dan mumbled to himself as he took out his phone and went I took contacts. He clicked on 'brownman' and called him.

"Hello?" Ray said as he picked up the phone

"Ray? I need your help. I'm at, uh, Lion's Hotel and my car broke down. Can you pick me up?" Dan asked.

"Um... I'm about to go live in twitch... I'll pick you up tomorrow. Just go into the hotel and spend the night there." Ray said.

"Fine. Bye" Dan said hanging up the phone. Dan felt a drop of water on his face. He touched it and felt another one. He looked up and it started to rain.

"I hate america" Dan muttered as he ran inside. It was much warmer in there than outside. Dan looked around to find the front desk. His eyes landed on a young man who looked half asleep at a desk. Dan walked towards the man as he admired the art on the wall. Mostly naked people that were just about covered.

"Uh, hi" Dan said as he got to the desk.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The man said. To Dan's surprise, he was British too.

"Can I get a room for a night please? My stupid car broke down" Dan asked. The man nodded.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Dan Howell" Dan replied. The man typed it into the computer along with other information.

"This place seems so empty...

"Yeah, nobody comes here anymore"

"It's so nice though..." Dan complimented. The man at the desk smiled.

"Alright... Here's your key" the guy said handing him a key to room 69.

"How much is it?" Dan asked getting out his wallet.

"Oh, uh, don't worry. You seem like you've had a terrible day. It's free" he said smiling.

"Really? Wow, thank you! Uh, what's your name?" Dan asked.

"Phil... My names Phil" Phil said.

"Phil. Thanks Phil" Dan said smiling. He went upstairs to his room and couldn't get the image of Phil out of his head. Those blue eyes, that black hair, those perfect lips. Dan checked out the room but quickly got bored. He glanced out the window to see the pouring rain. Boy, was he glad he came inside when he did. Dan wanted to talk to Phil again. He needed to.

Dan walked to the door and went downstairs. The elevator was out of order so it was time to get some exercise.

He got to the lobby and saw Phil again. His head was resting on the desk. Dan guessed he was tired.

"Ayyyy" Dan said. Phil looked up and squinted a little.

"Oh, hey" Phil said yawning.

"Someone's tired" Dan laughed.

"Well, that's life when you're the owner/ receptionist/ everything else in this stupid hotel." Phil said.

"When was the last time you slept?" Dan asked, worried.
