Chapter 31: Master Cordova

Y/N's P.O.V

Zeb and I are currently on our way to his speeder. After that we can go to the Hidden Path's base.

The Hidden Path is the group that Kanan is helping lead.

We come up on his speeder and see that there are Stormtroopers near it.

We hide behind cover.

Zeb: Alright, kid, how do you wanna play this?

Y/N: How about the way we did it on Nar Shaddaa?

He smirks.

Zeb: You wanna rush 'em? I like it.

Y/N: Good. Now, let's do it.

He activates his bow-staff and I ingite my lightsaber.

We jump down and the Stormtroopers see us.

Commander: We've got Rebels! Fire!

Zeb rushes at them and deflect their blaster bolts.

I look over and see one Stormtrooper place a bomb on the speeder.

Y/N: Oh, shit. No!

The bomb gets hit and blows up, knocking me on my ass.

I shake my head to get the ringing out of my ears.

After that I get back up and help deal with the Stormtroopers.

Once they're down, Zeb and I regroup next to the speeder.

Zeb: Damn. You okay, kid?

Y/N: Yeah, you?

Zeb: I'm alright.

Y/N: Sorry about your speeder, Zeb.

Zeb: Ah, it's all good. At least we weren't in it when it blew up.

Y/N: Good point. Come on, let's find somewhere to sleep for the night. It's getting dark out and that storm will be on top of us any minute.

Zeb: You're right. Follow me, I know a place nearby.

I follow Zeb and we leave the area.

(The next day)

After spending the night in a cave, Zeb and I make it to the Hidden Path base.

I sent the location of the base to Sabine and the Rogue will be here any minute.

We stop outside the entrance and the doors open.

I see an older man come out in Jedi robes.

I recognise him as the Jedi Master Eno Cordova.

He comes over to me.

Y/N: Master Eno Cordova?

He smiles.

Eno: That's right.

Y/N: Master Cordova. It's an honor. I know you don't know me, but I'm Y/N L/N.

Eno: I know. It's an honor to meet you as well, Y/N. Kanan has told me much about you. You've shown true courage and strength despite all you've been through.

He sighs.

Eno: I also knew your mother, Kira. I was sadden to hear about her death.

Y/N: You knew my mother?

Eno: I did. She was a good friend. She was brave, selfless and kind. I can see those same qualities in you, Y/N.

I smile.
