(The next day)
Y/N's P.O.V
Right now Kanan, BD and I are outside the ship along with the Mandalorian Clans.
Sabine's inside the ship with Bo-Katan and her mother.
She's planning on giving the Darksaber to Bo-Katan.
A moment later the ramp lowers and they step out onto it.
Mandalorian: Clan Vizla is with you.
Mandalorian #2: Clan Rook is with you.
Mandalorian #3: Clan Eldar is with you.
Mandalorian #4: Clan Kryze is with you.
Fenn: The Protectors are with you.
Ursa: Clan Wren is with you.
Sabine steps forward.
Sabine: Now I understand why the saber came to Y/N, then to me. It to us so I could pass it to you.
She then holds out the Darksaber.
Bo-Katan takes the saber.
Bo-Katan: I accept this saber for my sister. For my Clan and for all of Mandalore.
She holds the Darksaber up into the air before igniting it.
All the Mandalorian Clans kneel to her.
Sabine looks to me.
I nod to her and she nods back.
She definitely made the right decision.
(One hour later)
I go outside to see Sabine standing there watching the sunset.
I walk over to her and stand next to her.
Y/N: Hey.
Sabine: Hey. Still wearing your Mandalorian armor, I see.
Y/N: Yeah, it's growing on me.
Sabine: It suits you too.
I smile.
Y/N: Thanks, babe. So, how you doing? I mean giving up the Darksaber is a big thing.
Sabine: It is and I'm okay. It was the right thing to do. Bo-Katan is Mandalore's rightful ruler. The Clans need her more than they'll ever need me.
Y/N: I don't know about that. I think the Clans will always need you, Sabine.
She smiles.
Sabine: Thank you.
She sighs.
Sabine: It's crazy, for the first time in a long time it feels like Mandalore has a bright future.
Y/N: That's good. You know, it's funny every time we win a battle against the Empire I can see the future more clearly. A future where we can live in peace without the Empire.
She smiles.
Sabine: I wish I could see that future.
Y/N: You will. We will.
We turn to face each other.
Sabine: How do you know?
Y/N: Because I can feel it.
She smiles.
Sabine: Okay. I trust you.
I sigh.
Sabine: You okay? You look like you've got something on your mind.
Y/N: Uh, yeah. I've just been thinking about alot of things.
Sabine: Like what?
Y/N: Just everything we've been through. I mean we've been through alot together. And you've changed so much.
She smiles.
Sabine: We both have.
Y/N: Yeah, I guess so. If there's one thing I've learnt from our time together is that no matter what we go through as long as we're fighting together, watching each other's backs... we'll get through it.
Sabine: I couldn't agree more.
Y/N: I'm glad you said that, because there's something I want to ask you.
Sabine: Okay...
Y/N: I was gonna ask you this before we came here, but then we had to leave so quick that I didn't get the chance. So, I promised myself that if we got through this fight, I'd ask you...
I get down on one knee and pull out a ring.
Sabine's eyes widen.
Sabine: Oh, my god.
Y/N: Sabine Wren, will you marry me?
She smiles with tears in her eyes.
Sabine: Yes. Yes, I'll marry you.
I smile and put the ring on her finger.
After that I stand up and we kiss deeply.
We then pull away.
Sabine: Wow. I definitely didn't expect this.
I smile.
Y/N: I'm just glad you said yes. It wouldn't been awkward otherwise.
She giggles.
???: Hey, guys.
We turn to see Kanan standing there.
Y/N: Hi, Kanan.
Kanan: What's going on out here?
Y/N: Uh, well... we were...
Sabine shows him the ring.
Sabine: We just got engaged.
He smiles.
Kanan: What? That's amazing. Congratulations, you two.
He comes over and hugs us both.
Y/N: Thank you.
Sabine: Thanks, Kanan.
We pull away.
Y/N: So, what's going on?
Kanan: Oh, right. Hera contacted me. We're needed back on Yavin 4.
Sabine: Okay, we'll leave for Yavin 4 first thing tomorrow.
Y/N: Good idea.
After that we go back inside to tell Sabine's family about the engagement.
(The next day)
(Planrt: Yavin 4)
Sabine and I fly the Rogue Shadow down to Yavin 4.
We leave along with Kanan and BD-2.
Y/N: It feels like forever since we've been back here.
BD-2: (Beeps.)
Y/N: Good point, buddy.
I look up ahead to see Bode coming our way.
Bode: Y/N, you're back. Good to see you, brother.
I smile.
Y/N: You too, Bode.
He and I clapse hands.
Bode then greets Kanan and Sabine.
Sabine: Bode, what's going on?
Bode: It's about Lothal. Y/N, your father contacted us. Lothal's in trouble.
My eyes widen.
Y/N: What?
This isn't good. My homeworld is in trouble.
