"Whatcha doing?" Asked a little girl, I had heard her come over but I didn't want to tell Brooke. I got a tingling feeling and knew this girl was different, looked at her to find any idea to why I was tingaling. I saw her eyes then I knew she was the daughter of Aphrodite, those purple eyes they were staring into my soul. I immediately said "Nothing too important for you to know."

"Jason that's not nice! Sorry about him he has issues?" Brooke said.

"Where are your parents?" I asked curiously.

"They are...over at the tan house!" Said the little girl.

"Can I talk to them?"

"Sure! I'll take you over there!"

"It's okay you stay here with Brooke"

"Okay?" She said confused, I got up and started to walk in the direction of the tan house. It took me no time to make it over to it, I knocked on the door a young lady probably about 26 opened it.

"Hello. Who are you?" She asked suspiciously.

"I am Jason, I was over at the park and I saw a little girl without supervision so I just had to ask where her parents were. Can I come in?"

"Sure?" She backed away from the door so I could step in.

"Thank you. So are you the little girl's mother?"

"No I am not, I am just her cousin" She said calmly.

"Are her parents here?"

"Her father is.....he is in the study just over there." She pointed in the direction of the door on the right.

"May I speak to him?"

"Sure let me go ask him." She came back a few minutes later. "Okay you can talk to him." I walked over to the door she came out of and stepped in. It was dimly lit in the small room and barely any furniture except for the desk and two chairs in the room. Luckily I am used to seeing in the dark so it wasn't hard to navigate in the room, I went and sat in the chair in front of the desk.

"Hello Jason." Said a dark and mysterious voice.

"How do you know my name?"

"I know a lot Jason, I've seen things many do not." He said sternly.

"Okay... can we get to the reason I came here?"

"Sure sure go on."

"I came here because I saw your little girl in the park, once I saw her eyes..."

"Wait. You know what she is right?"

"Of course I do! I know she is the daughter of Aphrodite and also one of the Magics."

"You mean she really is?"

"Yes your daughter is one of the Magics and probably the youngest if we ever find the rest." I stated to him.

"You mean you've already found one!"

"Yes we have."

"Why do you keep saying we?"

"Oh...her protector found her and right now I am her... how do you say...bodyguard."

"Oh that makes sense, go on."

"Well I....uh?" I heard something, maybe a small scream, but I didn't know I tried to focus then on the sounds from outside. I then heard it again, by then I had gotten up from the chair and was making my way to the door.

"Is something wrong Jason?"

"I don't know...I should go see what it is-" I had my hand on the handle and was pushing it open ready for whatever came next once I got outside. After I had opened the front door I ran as fast as I could to get over there without anyone seeing me. When I got over to the tree no one was there, I started scanning the area but there was no sign of Brooke or the little girl. Then I saw it, a flash of a dark shadow out of the corner of my eye. I then knew it was the rogues that had gotten them I knew I shouldn't have left them outside. I headed to the spot where I saw the dark shadow I could smell the faint smell of the girls. I started running in the direction of the girls that headed into the forest.
