Namjoon woke up feeling anxious. It had been a very long time since he had felt this way, and he was already starting to dread the day that was ahead of him. His chest felt empty yet it felt like everything in him was about to overflow. It felt as if he was pouring a cup of coffee without paying attention to it and it overfilled, went everywhere, and left the cup half empty. All of that is what his whole being felt like in the moment. He didn't know where it was coming from, all he knew was that things in his life were finally going well. He was two months from graduating from university, had a consistent job, a car, an apartment, and he was about to enter a relationship very soon. For some damn reason, he thought it would all fall apart because everything good had always ended. He felt like this had happened a lot in his past life too, and he was terrified it would happen again. He then decided he would cancel his plans for the day, and take a drive to think about everything going on in his head. He wanted to work all of it out, and be free of his anxiety because he wanted nothing more than to keep the amazing things happening to him.

He got out of bed, and forced himself to get dressed just in case he had to make any stops. As he left his room, he ran into Yoongi in the living room. "Dude are you good? You look like depression threw up all over you." He said this and while Namjoon knew Yoongi was trying to cheer him up, it didn't help. He sighed, and looked at his best friend already knowing this bitch could read his mind. He decided to spill his guts to Yoongi, so instead of going for a drive, he sat on the couch rather sluggishly and placed his hands on his face. "I have no idea Yoongs. I feel like every good thing I've worked for is gonna fall apart. Shit always goes south as soon I'm starting to feel an ounce of happiness." Yoongi pulled Namjoon into a hug which surprised Namjoon because Yoongi hated affection unless it was from Jimin.

"Trust me Joon, I completely understand where you're coming from. When Jimin and I first started dating, I constantly felt like that. I still do sometimes, but it gets a little easier as the years go on." He pulled away from Namjoon, and gave his friend a small smile. "Where were you going anyway?" Yoongi asked this and Namjoon told exactly where. He was going to drive around until he figured out what was making him feel like this. Yoongi shook his head. "Okay, if that's gonna help you, I say go for it. Go get boba, it'll help." Namjoon smiled slightly, and he made his way to his car making sure to lock the door behind him.

Namjoon was lost. He had taken so many random roads that he had ended up in the side of town that he had never been. It was rather boring, there were a lot of business buildings, but thankfully there were a few small shops that would most likely have directions. He stopped at the first set of stores and looked at all of them. There was an antique shop with creepy looking clown dolls in the window and they scared him to his core. He immediately passed on that one, and continued on. The second one was a noodle shop. Namjoon decided to go in, and he was immediately greeted by a sweet little woman who was wearing a pink shirt that read KIM'S NOODLES. Namjoon smiled at her, and she smiled at him. There was something strangely familiar about her, but he decided to brush it off and order the first thing that looked good.

After ordering, he sat at one of the little tables. Suddenly the lady came to his table and sat a paper in front of him.  He looked at it and his stomach immediately dropped. His name was written on the front of it, and he had no idea how this woman could have known his name.

KIM NAMJOON,

You probably do not know me, but you did once before. I am Seokjin's mother. Not from this life of course, but the past. I have been wanting to find you for some time, but I hope you know that I mean no harm. When you're reading this, don't feel too alarmed and please don't run out of the shop. My husband will ask questions and I don't feel like explaining. I want to apologize to you and my belated son. I'm so sorry that we did that to you two, but I hope you can forgive me for those were different times. Thank you for making Seokjin happy back then, I truly hope you can in this life as well.

Namjoon looked over at the lady who placed the paper in front of him, and she smiled sadly at him. "How did you know?" He asked. She looked him in the eyes. "Your eyes stayed with you. Now here's your food. Get going, and know that all good things will stay. You deserve that at least." Namjoon grabbed his food in complete shock, and slowly made his to his car. He went straight to the only person he could talk to.

Jin.
