It's Saturday. Time for my detention with Malfoy. I walked as slow as possible to Professor Snape's classroom.

We both sat down in our original seats as Professor Snape waited for us in his desk. "Miss Potter, you might as well sit up front next to Draco." Snape began, "He's your tutor and I expect you two to be working on potions while you are here."

I huffed and stood up, obeying his orders.

"You need all the help you can get." He sneered.

I plopped down in the stool Draco was next to, placing my potions book in front of me on the table. Professor Snape glared at me with his head held high, then glared at Draco for a brief moment. He then dramatically exited with the cape of his robe flowing behind him.

I pressed my lips together.

Malfoy adjusted himself, "Do you wanna start?"

"Sure." I replied quietly.

"What exactly do you have the most problems with?" He inquired.

"Umm..." I thought about it for a short moment, "I think probably...knowing what ingredients go into what kind of potions."

"Okay...well that's actually easy once you know what properties a component has."

"And how am I supposed to know that?"

"Let's start easy. Rose petals. Take a wild guess as to what kind of potions those would be used for."

"Love?" I asked, not-so confidently.

"Right. So, one of the rose's magical properties is love."

"How am I supposed to remember all the properties of something?"

He smirked, "It's in your book, sweetheart."

I turned away to face my book so that I could hide the fact I was blushing. I grabbed the book and opened it to a random page.

"What are you doing?"

"I don't know." I answered very quickly. I looked up at him. He had a big smile on his face, one I had never seen before. I couldn't help, but smile too. We looked at each other for a good minute. Til I saw him tightly shut his eyes and look forward.
