Today Is The Day

-Hope's P.O.V-

"Wake up Hope! Come on before they don't let you eat at all and you can't come tonight." said Ashley. She and I were best friends and we always made sure the other one was up on important days like today. Ashley and I get to go to a Fall Out Boy concert, and for both of us it is the first concert either of us have been to. Let me tell you about myself when I was younger my mom died and my dad never wanted me (that is what they keep telling). I have been in an adoption center for 13 yrs. so basically my whole life because I am 16 yrs. old. Ashley and I are best friends and we promised each other if one gets adopted we would try to get the other one adopted. We both like the same music, and are similar in the way we dress. We get made fun of because we are the emo freaks, and we listen to punk rock bands. Today we both have on FOB shirts on for tonight, and we made sure they where the same shirts. When we walk downstairs there is a guy sitting there smiling at us. "Is that Hope?" The guy asked as he pointed at me. "Yes Mr. Armstrong. That is Hope." said one of the ladies behind the desk. When she said Mr. Armstrong Ashley and I looked at each other because one thing came to our mind BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG of Green Day. When this Mr. Armstrong came over we saw it was Billie Joe and we both started to freak out. "Oh...My...Gosh... You're Billie Joe Armstrong the lead singer of Green Day." I said. "Yes Hope I am, but I am Dad to you." He said with a smile. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I lost you when you were little and I finally found you." He said as I was completely confused. "They said you didn't want me." I said as I started to tear up. "I never stopped looking for you, and I am happy I finally found you. Your mother passed away the same year you were born. I wasn't aloud to have you because your grandparents on your mother's side took you, and they died when you were young too. I thought you were with someone else until my friends found out your mother was an only child, and then we fund out you were in the adoption center." He said crying. "You can take me home if one of your friends adopts my friend Ashley." I said pointing to her. "They told me about that so I already called someone for her." He said as Tre Cool came up to us. "You must be Ashley." He said to Ashley. "Yes, I am." she said trying to control herself. "I am your new dad." Tre said. Ashley and I both smiled before hugging them both and running to get our stuff. "I can't believe Tre's my new dad. Now I feel bad about all the fan girl moments I had." Ashley said as we both laughed. "At least yours isn't your real father, and you had a major crush on him." I said and we both laughed even harder. When we came downstairs everyone looked at us, and we just laughed. "Anything you girls want to do?" My dad asked us. We looked at each other and we both smiled. "Yes we want to learn how to play guitar and drums." I said. They both had huge smiles on their faces and that made Ashley and I laugh. "If you guys have any superpowers tell us now." Tre said. We looked at each other, and they were trying to figure us out. "13 years in an adoption center gets to you, and if you are close to the person you share a room with you end up having a secret code." Ashley said. "You think the same and you know each other really well. That's why we can look at each other and know what the other is thinking." I said as we both smiled.
