-Hope's P.O.V-

Today in science class we were talking about stupid things. I didn't really pay attention at all because I just kept thinking about math. Why didn't she tell us about that in private than in front of the whole class. I was completely out of it until the teacher called on me. "Yes ma'am." I said looking at her. "Are you paying attention to me?" She asked. "No, sorry. I have something on my mind, and it is making me very confused. I haven't been able to concentrate at all today." I said looking at her. "Do you need to speak to someone about it?" She asked. "I was going to speak to her after school about it so I can't get into trouble about wasting school time." I said. "You're a smart girl, but if you need to talk to this person do it at lunch." She said. "Do all teachers go to lunch?" I asked because at my old school none of them really had a lunch. "Yes. We all think the kids should learn about some classes from the older kids here so they all go to lunch together." She said. "Okay thanks." I said. I pulled out my sketching book, and I started to draw. I didn't know what I wanted to draw, but I knew it couldn't be something normal. I drew a skeleton head with words of songs I know behind it. Ash and the rest of the group were looking at me, and I just continued to draw. I saw we had lunch after science so I started to get ready for lunch.

When lunch came I got my lunch and headed towards Miss Evans class. When I was walking down the hallway teachers were looking at me weird, but I just kept going. When I got there I saw she was still in there, and my science teacher was there too. I decided I would listen to their conversation for a little bit. "Hope wasn't concentrating in any of her classes. Do you know why?" My science teacher asked Miss Evans. "Yes, and I need to talk to her so can you please get out of my-." I cut her off by walking in. "Miss Evans." I said looking at her. "Hope." She said back at me. "Can you go now? I want to talk to Hope without anyone in here." She said. "Just so you know I will be watching you two after this." My science teacher said. I walked over and sat down. "How's life now?" She asked sitting in front of me. "Good, and my father really did want me." I said. "That's good. Who is your father?" She asked. "You won't believe this, but Billie Joe Armstrong." I said. "No way. That explains a lot though." She said. "Tré adopted Ashley too." I said. "Wow you two are two of Green Day's band members daughters." She said. "Why did you want to become a teacher?" I asked. "Well I wanted to help kids that were like me, and I had left you at that adoption center. So I became a teacher, and I am really hard to any sports person because they are usually the ones that pick on the emo's." She said. "When did you dye your hair back to normal? I haven't seen it brown in years." I said. "Well I wanted to look as normal as a teacher so I went back to my normal hair, and I dress nicer to." She said. "After you left it was hard for me. You were the older sister I never had, and people picked on me because of what I liked. You kept your promise that you would see me again, and I told you I wouldn't become this." I said standing up and pointing at myself. "I'm fine with you looking like that, and I know I missed you all these years." She said with tears in her eyes. "I can't believe you're already 16. I always sang happy birthday on your birthday." She said. "I did that too. It made me feel close to you. I would by a cake on your birthday too." I said as tears were building in my eyes. "You better be a good girl." She said hugging me. "I will. I promise." I said hugging her.
