Chapter 20

After a few hours of meeting and greeting, the people in the house started to die down a fair bit. There were only a few groups of people here now.
I started to really feel tired after about 2 hours of it.
After having a laugh with Ana and Xander, we moved on to see Alex and his "Council" friends, they introduced me as the Alpha in-law, which basically meant, I'm going to be Dan's wife and the packs Luna, and he's going to be Alpha, if that makes any sense.
"How are you feeling Sara?" Dan wrapped his arm around my shoulder pulling me close. It was time to say goodbye to all of our guests, including Ana and Xander.
"I'm okay; I'm just so tired!" I sighed full of exhaustion.
"Right come on you, let's go say bye to Ana and Xander, and then we can go get ready for bed" Dan smiled down at me, his eyes turning into a shade of gold.
I still haven't got around to asking what the hell that is, and why on earth he does that.
Dan dragged me over to the front door as we waved to all the guests that were just jumping into their open top cars. I mean, I can't blame them, even thought the sun went down a few hours ago, the night's sky is still full of unimaginable heat!
I'm glad we have air conditioning running through the house, otherwise I would feel like a turkey in the oven for thanks-giving.
Just as we finished waving the guys off, A couple came towards us.
"Hello Daniel, an who might be this pretty young lady?" A man asked, walking towards us with a woman I would imagine his wife.
"Ah James and Amelia I'd love for you to meet my mate and future Luna, Sara Bennett" Dan said.proudly whilst pulling me against him closer.
A look of panic came over Amelia as she began to speak.
"You look even more beautiful than the rumors had told, I'm Amelia" she smiled.
Next thing I know Amelia pulled me into a hug and held me for dear life. I looked at Dan with pleading eyes asking for help as Amelia started to stroke my hair.
Just as I was about to pull myself out of her arms she let go and looked at me fron arms length.
"Yes you are a very beautiful girl and you will make a fantastic Luna for us. You mother and father must be so proud" she beamed.
"I doubt it" my words just slipped out although I think they were quiet enough for them not to hear.
"Right well we must be going" Dan smiled and shooked James hand as they spoke of their goodbyes. In the meantime Amelia just stared at me with a smile.
Dan pulled me close and wrapped his arm around my shoulder a little bit more as my eyes started to drop.
"Come on sweet, let's get you up to bed. You must be knackered" Dan asked as I nodded.
James an Amelia.looked.deep in conversation as they got into there car out the front.
They're a nice couple, abit touchy feely but a nice couple. Although I've thought that about everyone I've met tonight.
"Come on then, let's go on in" Dan whispered, lowering his face level with mine and kissing my cheek.
I laughed and smiled, "Okay babe".
