Cassidy P.O.V:

The popcorn had been popped, and the movie prepared, the only thing we needed was blankets.

Just as luck would have it, we of course didn't have enough blankets. Olivia hadn't been home enough to do it this week, and Daisy has been too busy at my place to notice. Therefore the only available blankets were Daisy's personal small blanket, and a large soft one.

Please don't tell me...

"Um, I hope it's ok if I just use mine, y'know cus it's my special baby. You could share with my mom, unless you don't wanna do that?" Daisy said looking to me through the dark. "Um.. I mean I guess it's fine. I don't need to have a blanket, plus it's not even that cold tonight." I say nervously shifting my weight to my other leg.

"Honey, it's freezing today. What are you even talking about? Just use the same one as me it's fine, its huge as hell." Olivia says lifting said blanket for me to sit next to her.

I swallow the lump that had formed in my throat and slid next to her on the couch. The soft blanket enveloped me in a warm sanctuary of comfort, yet my nerves kept spiking each time Olivia would move and slightly brush against me.

"I need me a Fiona." I said to Daisy who laid in the love seat. I could see her faint smile from the shine of the TV and she said, "She'll skate into your life soon enough Cass, you just gotta stop thinking about it and it'll go quicker" before throwing another handful of popcorn in her mouth. This didn't make me feel much better but I understood her sentiment. "Thanks" I responded and refocused my attention to Fiona and Scott kissing for the first time in the film. Seeing them happy made me happy, and finally able to relax a bit more.

"I've never seen this one somehow, but it's really good so far." Olivia whispered slightly too close to my ear causing me to accidentally flinch away.

"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She said remorsefully while holding her hand back with the other in regret. "No no, I'm sorry I just wasn't expecting you so close. I didn't notice I guess. But yeah this is one of my top movies easily." I say recovering a bit in the end. "I can see why" she says before finally laying back and refocusing on the movie again. The minutes went by more and more before they almost added to over an hour, and the movie was almost finished. I was so relaxed and zoned into the movie that I had failed to notice me and Olivia's closeness, which would normally make me freak out. Instead I was intently focused on the movie and utterly comfortable wrapped in the amazing blanket.

As the credits almost finished I lightly lifted my body out of her side, and stretched it out completely before standing up. "See why it's one of our favorites now?" I said looking down at Olivia rubbing her soft blue eyes..

"Definitely, that was insane, in the best way possible. Such good music, and so hilarious." She said excitedly which made me happy, knowing she liked it. Why? I don't know... it just does.

I swiftly turn my attention to Daisy in order to stop staring, and notice her limp body lightly moving as she breathed peacefully in her slumber. "Looks like my daughter couldn't stay up, always a sleepy head since she was little." Olivia said with a shake of her head while smiling. "I'd have to agree. She's always the first to fall asleep during any movie marathon or all nighter." I said backing up her already well founded claim.

"How has it been with you guys recently? She's over there practically every day isn't she?" She suddenly asked. "Oh yeah, she loves it over there. But I don't get what she sees really, those kids can get so annoying." I said slightly joking and slightly not at the same time.

"I really don't mind when you come over when I'm here though. I always love cooking for people and it's fun to have movie nights and stuff like this every now and then." She let's our making my heart stray slightly from its normal beating pattern. I love feeling appreciated, even if it's from someone I don't like, or not supposed to like. Stuff like that.. whatever
