This Story has officially concluded!!!
Thanks for reading (and hopefully enjoying) these works, because I sure enjoyed writing them.
I was working on a short epilogue to add in at the end, but it felt clunky/awkward, and I much preferred to leave it as is, because this way feels much more beautiful overall in my opinion.
In short, it felt tacked on (even though I wasn't intending to) so I felt more comfortable scrapping it rather than letting it end that way.

For those who still want more background on the supporting characters that don't get enough attention here, feel free to check out the miniseries I am currently working on which will feature just that.
The main focus is now on two sets of characters, those being:
Alex + Shirley from before the events of the original book
and
Wendy + Marissa during the time of the storm, and events thereafter
It obviously won't be super long, and will have a split narrative broken up each chapter, but I think it'll be just as fun to write!
