Cassidy's P.O.V:

Last night I had to practically seal Wendy's mouth shut, which felt weird because usually Daisy is the one needing to do that to me.

She was quite obviously shocked, but got the picture and thought it was cute, just like she did about me and Olivia. That brought me another huge relief, but now the only thing left was to deal with my actual feelings for her. That part I hadn't gotten to yet but I'm not looking forward.

You wanna know what I am looking forward to though?

You guessed it! Lunch!!

My stomach grumbled as we neared the cafeteria for the 1000th time in my life, and on the way ran into Wendy just like yesterday. "Hey girl, hey girl." She said giving grabby hands at us.

"Hey girl, speed up your pace I'm dying for some food here." I said grabbing her hand and pulling her along with my speed walk. "She's like this like all the time, you'll get used to it." Daisy said giving a thumbs up to her while slowing down her pace, leaving Wendy to get dragged off by me alone.

We gloriously landed in the lunch line giving Wendy the chance to catch her breath. After a few moments of breathing she squeezed my hand and said, "I haven't gotten a chance to talk to you alone since the bathroom last night. Are you feeling any better about.. you know who." She looked around at the end, not wanting to be caught saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. "I mean, I guess. I'm just dreading the process of actually having to say it to her. How do I even bring something like that up?" I asked shaking my head.

"Well I mean, you just need to help or speak with her when she's alone and you'll get your feelings across somehow. I know it. However that is, it'll come to you in the moment." She said rubbing my arm to comfort me. "Thanks" I say not being able to hold back my smile at her constant ability to reassure me.

"Lezbos, hahah." Some dumbass kids say in front of us. I usually just ignored that type of shit, but I could see how much it hurt Wendy by her face alone.

"Seriously man? The fuck does it even concern you?" I say nudging him back aggressively. "How are you even still acting like that in this day and age?" I add, befuddled by his childish behavior.

"I don't care what day it is, it's my prerogative to call out fags when I see them." He says, tipping me right off the edge I had already been dangling from. It didn't help when I looked over to Wendy almost tearing up. He really fucked up now.

There wasn't even a moment for him to react before my fist collided with his jaw. This sent him to the floor, holding his face in pain. No I hadn't broken it, but that was what came next. I dragged his already lifeless body to the table seats and curb stomped the fuck out of his jaw, dislocating it from its previously secure position. "Don't desecrate my Angel." Everyone around us seemed horrified but I shrugged my shoulders in bliss as Wendy grabbed my arm and kissed my cheek. "My hero."

After a moment of clarity I realized I faded into a dream-like state, imagining all of it. Suddenly I was back in front of this kid, ready to strike, but unable. What the fuck was that vision. I would never do some crazy shit like that, right?

"Guess she's too scared then." He laughed, turning back to his posse of freaks getting their lunch next.

I looked at Wendy again and she had a single tear that had streamed down her face but still stood strong, but not holding onto me anymore. "Hey, don't ever feel bad about it." I said rejoining our hands. "Be proud of who you are and fuck whatever anyone else thinks."

She wiped her face and smiled a bit when I could see her mouth again. "I'm sorry I couldn't do anything though. I just got a.. really weird and scary thought I guess."
