Cassidy's P.O.V:

Another few weeks of therapy truly did prove to be phenomenal for my mental health.

According to those around me: I was getting bubbly again, feeling like my old self. All I knew was that I felt a happier mood enveloping my life, even at the hellscape we call school. I was back to cracking jokes at the most inappropriate times in class, and making my friends laugh around the lunch table. When they feel good, I feel good, and it basically becomes an exponential equation. The amount of foggy thoughts wandering my mind were drastically decreasing by the day.

It felt like everything was finally going my way, once again, all stemming back to the moment me and Olivia got stuck with each other for a month that would prove to change the foundation of our lives forever.

"How long until everyone is supposed to arrive?" She asks me from the mirror where her eyelashes were being curled.

"Less than an hour by now, don't worry, I'm the only one who needs to care how pretty you look anyway." I smirk, slapping the very exposed ass which was bent over while she looked to herself in the mirror.

During the week we planned a party between both our families, also inviting all our friends in the process. This included, Alex, Shirley, Wendy, and Marissa her new girlfriend! Who came into town again specifically for this. I was so happy when she first let me know all the juicy details about their online romance, and I was excited to know more and more as their love blossomed. If anyone deserved true love the most, it was Wendy. She was an angel from the moment I met her, and I wouldn't have it any other way, for both our sakes.

Due to how much company we were expecting, Olivia had been in the kitchen all day, preparing the best dinner she could concoct. I kept telling her to take it easy, but my words would not help, so instead I used my hands to assist with anything else I could.

"Could you please get the plates and silverware ready at the dinner table." She asks with a crease in her forehead.

"I already told you I did honey, calm down, it's gonna be okay." I take her in my arms to soothe her from the frantic state she was stuck in. She eventually settled down into my grip, flopping her perpetual frown into a smile.

"It's just a dinner between good friends and family, literally no one will care if you fuck it up besides yourself, so just take it easy." I rub her exposed arms from her sleeveless dress, which calmed her even more.

"Okay.. okay, yes. We just need each other." She sighs out with more of a relaxed smile.

"Everybody else is gonna have their own girl by their side anyway, so they're only gonna care about having a good time together." I remind her of the truth of the situation. It was practically a quadruple date we were having, with the addition of my goofy ass siblings running around in the background the whole time.

After another few moments of her in my arms, she returns to a more relaxed position, while I add the finishing touches to my look.

Finally after another 30 minutes or so, our first guest arrived, those being none other than our neighbor's and family. This was no surprise due to the fact that they only needed to walk a whopping 30 feet before arriving at our doorstep.

"Cass!" Daisy leaps into my arms with a full forced hug, and i reciprocate wholeheartedly. "Hey bestie."

"I couldn't wait for tonight, I've been running around the house all day." She giggles to me as we finally split up to look at each other again.

"Gosh your dress is gorgeous Daisy. You always love to pretty up don't you." I say slapping her arms together all giddily. "What about you and your matching necklaces with my mother. Every minute I see you now, you're wearing that pretty little thing so tight to your collarbone." She widen's her sweet smile pampered by a light blush, while grabbing the dangling cloud from my neck.
