Cassidy's P.O.V:

It's been a few days since the L word was dropped, and I'm not talking about being in Lesbians with each other.

She's the one and only person I've heard tell me that they love me, and actually mean it in that kind of way. Now each day that passes feels that much more special, to know she's at the point where she feels good enough to come out and say she loves me. Her being where she is at all should be sign enough to me that's she's all in. I don't think she would just start kissing me all willy nilly, she would have to feel pretty strong right off the bat to even consider it. Right? Even though most normal people tend to simply ignore me..

As my every thought swarms the idea of Olivia's love for me, I notice her stares from the kitchen. "You seem to be thinking pretty hard, no?"

I shake myself of all the thoughts and in turn shrug. "I just can't stop thinking y'know, I always get like this." I say becoming angry with myself for always boxing myself into a corner where I start to doubt things. I know of course that she loves me and that things are going well, but the smallest thoughts in the very back of my mind always tend to creep up when they're least wanted.

"Hey it's ok, I think about a lot to myself as well. Are you questioning yourself, assuming things you don't know the answer to?" She accurately describes and relates to my experience.

"Well.. yeah pretty much." I chuckle also adding, "I just always imagine the worst case scenario way too soon." By now I stand from the chair I was in and begin to fuddle around the room.

"Hey there's nothing wrong with that, it's easier to prepare yourself when you can imagine it. But you gotta stop and remember that none of it matters in the end, and the only thing that does is reality, and what you make of it." As she explains everything to me, she grabs my arms, preventing me from shuffling around the room anymore. I hadn't even noticed her leave the kitchen to come capture me.

"Oh.." was all I could say at first due to surprise, but I soon continue, "y-yeah though, you're making a lot of sense."

Her already radiating smile shone just a bit brighter, causing my already oozing heart to pool out onto the chilling floor. "Thanks, it's what I try to do for a living."

"No wonder you're so good at it." I looked deeply into her eyes as our bodies got even closer than they already had been. Suddenly she cuts through the tension saying, "Hey, y'know what makes a lot of sense? Me continuing to make lunch, and you continuing to stare in glee as you periodically check your phone."

I look to the side as my cheeks darken, though can't help but to add, "Just stop being so sexy and cutting me off when I wanna give in to my dark desires."

"Totally, I'll make sure to do that, but you still gotta wait for me baby. Sit right here," she says before guiding me back to my seat, "and right when we finish eating we can have seconds with each other."

She quickly leaves me to stew in thought and frustrations, but I take it like the big girl that I am, suck it up, and continue my stares.

As she predicted, my elongated staring session was soon interrupted by a ding from my phone. I looked at it, revealing a message from Wendy.

##############################

Wendy: How's life with your lover on this fine, rainy, Tuesday afternoon?

You: Oml, just as amazing as ever. How's my perfect little angel doing though?

Wendy: Better as time passes..

You: ??? What's a text like that supposed to suggest?

##############################

In my anticipation for her next text I started looking around the room a bit frantically. My gaze instinctively returned to the living, breathing, goddess that was currently preparing me lunch.
