Cassidy's P.O.V:

Once again I had recovered from a long day of turmoil at school. Me and my friends walked out just the same as always, nothing seemed to be different at all. But I knew, this day was quite significant. Right when I got home to my beautiful girlfriend, me and her would be going on a weekend trip out to a nice windy beach.

Usually spending my free time consisted of lazing around my house in search of the most comfortable landing to plant myself on as I sit and decay. But instead, today I have an actual trip planned, with the hottest most wonderful wonder I know.

The thought alone was shiver inducing, causing me to get a couple stares from the girlies beside me.

"You okay Cass?" Daisy asks, not realizing the reason behind my hyperactive state. "Now that you mention it," I say realizing I hadn't told anyone but her yet, "I'm gonna be going on a trip with my girlfriend to the beach this weekend." I announce to the entire group, leaving them in a surprised state of shock.

"Oh my god, hell yes. When did you guys plan that?" Alex asks, making me realize we have never really explained the entire situation between each of our moms. Of course they knew about Daisy and mine, but they don't know about me and Olivia, excluding Wendy of course. "Well she told me about it while we were having dinner the other night, at her house, which I happen to live at now." I utter, getting more bashful with each word that followed.

"No fucking way, wait huh?" Alex slams the hood of her truck to express herself more violently. Shirley on the other hand only expressed her surprise with her abnormally enlarged eyes. Soon she also exhaled a deflating: "Wow~"

"Yup, that's Cassidy. A secret lady's girl at heart. She'll wriggle herself into the heart of anyone she chooses." Wendy says, hitting a little too close to home with her comment, but still saying it in a comedic fashion. "She hasn't said anything to me yet?" Daisy questioned, making me also wonder why that could be. In our confused state, our other two friends went into an even wilder state of confusion.

"W-why would her girlfriend tell you about it Daisy?" Shirley quietly questioned, causing a stark silence to loom over the group, similar to the slowly setting sun in our background.

"Well, uhm..." I break the silence for a moment before realizing I no longer knew what to say. Before I could fully formulate it though, Daisy breaks the news instead "Cassidy is also with my mom now too. Sorry we hadn't really got around to mentioning it to you guys." She admits, lowering her head in shame.

The wonderful amusement dancing across their faces was nothing like the previous shock they were feeling. "What the actual fuck, you're joking right." Alex brushed her hair back in the same motion as wiping her forehead. "Nope." Wendy butts in, confirming to them that she also knew the truth this whole time. "Wow..." they say in unison, causing the rest of us to giggle as they sit stunned for another good minute.

"I know, it was pretty insane for me to process at first, but hey. What are you gonna do." I shrug at the hard truth of the situation. "And now that we live at each other's places, it makes it way more simple and easy for us to enjoy the company of our... y'know." Daisy says, dropping another official bomb onto the conversation.

"Living..?" Alex says another phrase, leaving a good chunk of silence before responding again. "It's a lot to process so suddenly, but we're really happy for the both of you, the four of you actually." She wraps her arms around her short girlfriend beside her, reclaiming her smile in the process. "Yes, we really do!" Shirley announces in agreement, bringing the entire mood back up to a lighter one.

"That all being said I really should get home so I can get there on time with her." I admit, throwing my thumb over my shoulder to my car behind us.

"O-oh yeah, of course. You guys get going, we'll see you next week." Alex says, scrambling to the other side of her own vehicle. "Love you guys." Shirley adds with a small flutter of her even smaller fingers. I wave my hand through the air in response and hop in my car with Daisy as Wendy struts away to her own.
