The voice. Is she dreaming again? She looks up to face the pair of incisive eyes she had missed so terribly.

Suguru's eyes are gazing down at her. His hands are as usual in his pockets, and he is wearingg a black leather jacket and matching trousers. His hair has grown significantly. He still ties it. He looks good, healthy, and fine as hell. But something has changed. She cannot tell what he is thinking.

"You-" She attempts to speak, but after meeting him years later, she can't form proper words.

"Yes. Me. How are you?" He questioned in a casual manner, as if nothing had happened.

Sayuri's mood dims. This is becoming intolerable to her.

How could he so casually ask how she is like they are merely strangers?

"I can't do it, I'm sorry." Before running away from him, she said. He was following her, as Sayuri could see.

They are being watched by everyone in the museum. Why does it have to be this way? Why can't she face him?

At the back of the museum, she discovers a little closet. Perfect. He suddenly keeps the door open as she enters and tries to lock it. She understands that her efforts are futile. She can't lock the door.

"Please. I just wanna talk." In a way, he begs.

As he entered the storage, he shut the door. There were numerous ancient, damaged sculptures, paintings, and paintbrushes in the cramped space. Dust has coated everything. It's impossible to stand apart from one another in this cramped space. Suguru's head is so close to the closet's ceiling that it almost touches it.

"Talk? You promised to kill me the next time you see me, didn't you?" She at last discovered her voice.

"You understand fully why I said what I said. You betrayed me."

"You are betraying yourself and you are not even able to notice that." She almost laughs.

"Aren't you supposed to be overseas?" He abruptly questioned.

"Were you spying on me?"

"And what if I was?" Once more, like he did many moons ago, he is gazing at her with those dark eyes. But Sayuri won't fall for his trap once more, not as she did before, right? She is examining the depth of his eyes before feeling his thumb tentatively and gently stroke her lower lip.

She faintly pleaded, "Don't."

Every time she sees him, a hurricane still enters her life. He remains in the same position. No matter how many years passed, for each other, they haven't even slightly changed.

"Did I offend you?" He replied as he withdrew his hand.

"Just don't."

"Are you seeing someone?" Sayuri glances at him with surprise as he asks. Is he fucking serious?
She resolves to keep her cool.

"And what if I am?"

"Then I might have to kill him." He spoke in the most boring manner, as if there were no other options.

Sayuri couldn't help but laugh.

"You haven't changed, Suguru."

He still closes his eyes when grinning. Sayuri ponders whether she ought to inform him of their child. No. She shouldn't involve him in this situation once more. She understood that he wouldn't change. Not at all. Their paths will never be the same.

He reads her face and approaches to take her in his arms. She gave him a firm embrace. She was unable to recall how long she had been dreaming about this.
