A child? Is she truly up to taking care of a child? Her thoughts are straying. How is this even possible? They were quite cautious. Hearing this, she envisioned Suguru's expression. She couldn't think of anything. She has no idea how he will respond. In this cursed society, is she truly capable of raising a child?

"Sayuri, we all are here fot you no matter what choice you make." Shoko continues to speak. Her thoughts come to a stop.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, if you don't want to keep it, I understand." Shoko informed her while keeping her hand on her own.

"Shoko-san, I can't kill my flesh and blood." How could she kill someone who never even had the chance to take a breath in this world? She is not that horrible.

Shoko examines Sayuri's determination in her eyes. She is sure of it. She is capable. Shoko smiles.

"Okay, so what would you do about him now?"

Sayuri doesn't need to inquire as to whom she is referring. Of course Shoko is aware of the father.

"Honestly, I have no idea."

She doesn't, actually. She wanted to be honest with him about her motivation for joining the organization today. But if she tells him about the baby, she questions whether anything would change. Would anything alter? Would he return to her and the school? Would he give up his bizarre dreams for their child instead of her?

"You must tell him. He should be informed. He has a right to know."

Sayuri nods in agreement. She looks at the clock now. Already after seven o'clock in the evening. Shit. She needs to return. She got out of bed and prepared herself.

"Please keep this a secret for the time being, Shoko-san. I'll bring him back. I'm serious."

"I know, Sayuri," Shoko says with a smile, "Sensei already told me."

Sayuri gives her a startled expression. She didn't tell her when she left. And she told Yaga sensei not to inform anybody. But she had the feeling that he would eventually.

"And does he know, too?" Regarding Satoru, she asked.

"No. No, not yet."

"Good. I'll show him that I can bring him back," She said, smiling.

"Good luck, Sayuri." Shoko gave her a thumbs up.

Sayuri nods as she leaves the hospital and makes her way to the school's exit. She looks towards the school while turning her head. Countless memories. She received everything here. The least she could do is to return the talented sorcerer to this institution.

When she glances up, she observes that the sky is cloudy. Before heading back to the organisation, she contemplated whether it would rain later at night as she walked down the street.

The main hall has no lights on. Where is everyone? She quietly thought. Her stroll to the organisation took more than 30 minutes. She chose not to use the bus on purpose. She decided to walk and reflect. When she is thinking, walking is quite helpful.

She considered every conceivable response Suguru may have to her real intention as well as the reality she learned today. But she made the decision to be honest with him. He deserves to know everything, as Shoko said.

The door to her room is open. It has started to raining. Thunders could be heard from outside. After perhaps a few months, it is pouring. To her shock, the room is totally deserted. What in the world? She pondered. Where are her belongings?

"You are required to appear in Getou-sama's office, Azai-san." Izane is standing there when she turns her head. His features revealed nothing to her.
