"And why is he still alive?"

"Because he's useful unlike you old geezers!"

Sayuri lets out a sigh upon hearing Satoru's words. In a critical situation, he is no good. They are talking about Yuta Okkotsu's death sentence at the Higher Up's office.

Nothing much has changed at all. Sayuri visited this place frequently, yet she can still clearly recall her first visit as a student. She came to ask for permission to bring Suguru back and to become a spy in his group. Well, that was a colossal failure. The second time Yuki-san brought her here, it was for her formal first day as a sorcerer. Sayuri will never forget the day these old geezers made fun of her for failing, multiple times on her "spy" mission.

"Boy, watch what you say! Don't forget where you are." Angrily, one of the superiors declared.

"He's the strongest sorcerer of this era, maybe you guys ought to remember that sometimes." Sayuri raised her voice. "Anyway, this isn't a debate. Our purpose for being here is to delay Yuta's execution."

"He killed a boy, what guarantee is there that he will not kill again?"

"One of the resentful spirits is inside him. The cursed energy of that monster is equal to or greater than Ryomen Sukuna. Gojo Satoru, tell me, how are you going to break a curse like the King of Curses?"

Sayuri instantly recognises the voice as belonging to Naobito Zenin, the chief of the Zenin clan.

Satoru was roughly to lash out when Sayuri interrupts. Not like the others, that old Zenin. He never fails to ask actual queries.

"We had been watching him. For the past few months, Gojo has been teaching him a lot about controlling his cursed energy. He has been accompanying his classmates on various missions. Rika stayed inside. He has been putting in a lot of daily training to save lives. Can we not give this boy a chance?" she exhales.

The others are whispering to each other. With a little smile on his lips, Satoru gives her a look that makes it clear why he is bringing her along.

"He's a special grade. Consider the number of missions he is doing by himself. I see that it's a profit for you."

The shadowy stages have become quiet, and a very weak voice eventually says, "Very well, Yuta Okkotsu's death sentence has been postponed to the beginning of the new year. But keep in mind, Azai and Gojo." The old man's small shadow could be seen when they turned to face the fully obscured source of the voice, which said, "If he couldn't master his technique by the end of the year, he's dead meat."

"Special grade! This girl failed the previous time she attempted to bring back a special grade. She shouldn't be trusted." A voice said.

Just as Sayuri was about to lash out, the doors began to close one by one until they were outside in the brilliant sunshine. Sayuri was still unable to recognise whose cursed technique that is. They are immediately escorted back after each meeting after a decision has been made.

"Tch. This is what they always do! Stupid people!" She said, getting irritated.

"I told you we should just kill them." Gojo said, holding her hand when they returned to Jujutsu High via teleportation.

"Hey! I haven't gotten used to it yet." As they landed close to the classrooms, her head began to spin. She still gets that sick feeling no matter how many times he uses his teleportation skill to escort her.

Satoru takes off his blindfold, appears a little worried, and then abruptly lifts her head and touches her chin.

He's giving him a really close look. Sayuri is perplexed by his abrupt attitude shift. His eyes still scares her. With a highly squeaky tone, he says, "You're so weak sometimes, Sayuri-chan!"
