Becky went home from the hospital disoriented. Nam and Mind insisted to take her home, but she did not let them inside their house.

Upon entering, she saw her worried mother, waiting for her in the couch with her obviously displeased father.

"Oh my gosh, baby, where did you go? Do you know what time is it now. We've been worried sick when you didn't go home earlier." Her mom said, checking up on her, hugging her in the process.

Oh. Yes. It was already 5 in the morning. Becky didn't even notice the time as her mind was flying around thinking about her situation and Freen.

"Rebecca. Do you think this is the time a good lady comes home?" Her father sternly said, obviously disappointed.

"I... Uhm... Sorry, dad. I was with P'Nam and P'Mind. I didn't notice the time." Becky lowered her head, not able to look at her parents, as she was hiding the real reason why she got home late.

Her mother, sensing the tense atmosphere, looked back at her husband, rubbing his shoulder to calm him down.

"Just make sure you are not lying, young lady. I am telling you. If you do anything stupid, forget that you are even part of this family." With that, he left.

Becky decided to rush to her room after bidding her mother good night, tho it was technically morning. What she heard from her own father added to the already huge burden she was carrying, she had to let it out. So, she cried, and cried, until she fell asleep. Wishing that everything will eventually be okay when she wakes up. Praying that Freen would come to save her and their child from the incoming wrath of her father.

-----

Weeks passed, still. Nothing. Becky was starting to accept the fact that Freen has already decided to forget about her very existence. Day by day, she was losing hope for the future that she and their child will face.

Her stomach was starting to bulge as her baby bump was beginning to show. There was no way in hell that she will be able to hide her pregnancy any longer. So, she started packing her things. She knows that once her family learns about her condition, they will disown her, and she would have to leave the comfort she has grown up to.

She made sure to take as much of her important belongings with her, jewelry and gadgets that she can eventually sell, to help her to at least support the delivery of the baby. She also emptied her savings account, for she was afraid that her dad will freeze her bank account when the time comes. Little by little, she transferred her stuff on a humble apartment that she found. On a simple neighborhood, not far from her hometown. She choose the place because of the peace and quiet it offers and the low cost of living, good for her and her baby.

Her baby. Just thinking about how in 5 months time, she would be able to see her face to face excites Becky.

Her. Yes. The baby is a girl. Becky just found out a few days ago, after she went to a doctor's appointment. She had to learn a lot of things, as she was a first time mom. There were a lot of do's and don't's abou pregnancy that she didn't know before. There were also a lot of vitamins that she has to take. Though she actually hated taking oral medicine, she did her best to do so. For the baby. To make sure that she comes out healthy.

Also, in the said past few weeks, Becky was able to take her mind off of her problems with Freen because she had to focus on her finals in the university. The semester just ended, and she was graduating. Well, hopefully.

Not that she was boasting, but she is a good student. Running for Summa Cum Laude on her undergrad on Social Science, her Pre-Law course. It had always been her dream, but right now, she wasn't sure if she is still going to pursue it. With the baby on the way. Becky now has other priorities.

Looking at the sonogram of her healthy baby girl, Becky could only imagine the happy future that they would have together. But it would be so much happier if its other mother would be on the picture. Hopefully, someday she finally comes around.

Becky decided to put the picture away, laying it on top of her study table, before going to the bathroom to shower. She was planning to buy some baby stuff on her free time. Her parents would not suspect her, as she, technically, still has classes, which she decided not to attend anymore, as the semester is basically done. Only students who have to submit additional requirements still go to school, as they would start practicing for their graduation very soon.

Imagine the shock that Becky got, when she got out from the bathroom while naked, supposedly to get the towel she forgot, only to find her mom holding her baby's picture, obviously confused.

The opening of the door got the older woman's attention. The confusion she had because of the photo she was holding, turned to shock and realization, when she saw the bump on her daughter's belly.

"Oh gosh! Becky is pregnant!" This was the thought of Ms. Armstrong before she fainted, alarming the other residents of the house, who rushed to Becky's room.

"The cat is finally out of the bag. What is going to happen to us now?" Becky thought, as she wrapped herself with a robe while tending to her mother.
