"Sooo... How are you liking the Philippines so far, Becky?"

The person in question turned to see the owner of the estate she was staying at and her savior, Jane, wearing her usual smile. Beside her is her partner and soon-to-be wife, Janella, with one arm protectively wrapped around the other's waist.

Staying with them for almost a month now is a bliss. Becky, weirdly, really felt at home, for the two were very kind and hospitable to her. Even though they were practically strangers, they never treated her differently, which made her feel like she knew them even before they met.

Becky can't also help but envy the relationship of the two. Though Janella can sometimes act bossy and possessive of the Jane or the fact that she can be moody sometimes, they obviously get along well. It's like they are perfect for each other, one another's other half, their soulmate. They compliment each other. They understand the other person, even when they are not speaking, and Becky thinks that is beautiful. When she sees they together, she can't help but remember Freen, and of course, their little blessing, Jisoo.

Sigh. How are they? She hopes they're doing well and are both healthy. She also wishes that they think about her as much as she does, because honestly, there's not a day after she woke up, that they have not been on her mind and prayers. How she would trade anything in the world right now, just to be with them again.

Sadly, at the moment, they are still waiting for the right time for her to go back to Thailand. In order to be allowed to travel, she still has to fully recover, as her doctors said. She started undergoing therapy since she work up, courtesy of the generous couple who are now her friends.

Speaking of Jane and Janella, seeing how Becky was still lost in her thoughts, Jane decided to ask again. "Hey, Becky. Are you okay? Is something bothering you?"

The question finally brought the girl back to reality.

"Oh, ah, yeah. I'm great. Thank you for asking. Actually, I'm loving my stay here in your country. It's so beautiful here. So peaceful and quiet." The girl replied with a genuine smile on her face.

The other two just answered with a smile that, before looking at each other, proud that they made the girl happy with staying there.

They sat across Becky, who was on the garden of their house to join her in adoring the calm and serenity of the place.

They are now in the couple's rest house in Tagaytay. They moved here, thinking that it would help with the girl's recovery if she would be in a peaceful and quiet place. And true to their thoughts, Becky felt very happy staying there, forgetting all the stress she has experienced because of the beauty of nature.

"What have you been thinking about before we came? You seemed so lost in your thoughts." Janella decided to ask after a while.

"Uhm... Nothing much, really. Just the same things. I miss my home, my family, the woman I love, and our baby." The girl replied with a sad smile plastered on her face.

The two just exchanged a sad look before Janella held on of Becky's hands.

In the duration of her stay with the two, she felt comfortable with them, to the point where she told them everything that happened to her before the accident.

"So, what's your plan after your therapy? Are you going back home? And when you do, are you going to go back to them? Are you ready to face your family? Freen?" Jane asked.

The question made Becky silent. To be honest, this has been the question that was bugging her since she regained consciousness. She doesn't know what to do. She misses her loved ones, but she doesn't know whether she will go back to them or remain living alone.

"I..."

------

Becky's heart is beating so loud as she got out. She took a deep breath before raising her head and heading out with her luggage.

It's good to be back home.

She can't believe that she's finally back to her homeland after 3 long months.

Being here feels nostalgic; it's making her teary-eyed. But before she really start crying, she hailed a cab to finally go back to where she belongs.

To hell with the consequences!

She's going to see Freen and Jisoo. She can no longer live without them.

The accident made her realize that she has to be brave and face the consequences of her choices head on. If Freen really can't love her, at least she knows that the girl will be civil enough to co-parent their child with her.

She also plans to reconcile or at least get to apologize more to her parents. She knows that everything that happened is all her fault, and she would do everything to be accepted back to their family. Because even if her parents are always uptight and manipulative to her, she can't change the fact that she loves them, and she's sure that they love her to.

This will be the start of her new beginning.
