Becky was able to deliver the baby safely, unfortunately the baby had to stay in an incubator, as she was born prematurely. She had to be closely monitored and had to have a machine help her breathe, as her lungs were not yet fully developed. The doctors are also monitoring whether there will be any more complications.

This saddened Becky a lot. She blamed herself on what happened. She knew it was her fault. Had she listened to her doctor and rested at home instead of continuing working, this wouldn't have happened.

Looking at her very little baby inside the incubator with various machines connected to her body broke Becky's heart. If only she could take away her little Jisoo's pain, she would gladly do so.

After 2 weeks, Becky was allowed to get discharged from the hospital, but her baby had to stay. Jisoo had to remain in the hospital for a whole month to make sure that she really is okay. For the duration of those days, Becky stayed by her side and never left. They only had each other anyway.

Fortunately, there were no further complications that were found. So, they were given a go signal to finally be discharged.

The whole ordeal, sadly took a toll on Becky. All the money she saved up and brought from her previous savings were washed out for Jisoo's treatments. But if you'll ask her, it was all worth it. She didn't mind if she goes broke. What's important is that her baby is safe and healthy.

Irin didn't want to leave Becky's side, unfortunately though, she was bound to go to Australia to follow her family after her graduation, as they previously planned. She left right after her now godchild was discharged from the hospital, taking care of both mother and child before doing so. She also left a hefty sum of her savings to Becky, to hopefully be able to help with the childcare. Becky, was reluctant to accept the money, but Irin told her that it was not for her, but for her godchild, insisting that the girl think of it as her advanced Christmas gifts to the child, as they will surely not be seeing each other for quite a while.

Alone, Becky had to face her new reality. She is now a single mother without even a family or friends who can help her.

The money that Irin left them soon ran out.

Becky realized how valuable money is. The price of formula and diapers are no joke!

She tried breastfeeding, and luckily, Jisoo liked her mommy's milk. This somehow helped her financial situation somehow.

Sadly, she eventually had to go back to work after 3 months because they barely had money left. It was a blessing that Jisoo can now be brought along to Becky's job.

Also, thank God for Irin! Because without what she gave, Becky would've been forced to work sooner, when Jisoo was still an infant, and that would've been impossible, as no one will be left to look after her baby girl.

Becky and Jisoo were also very fortunate that both the cafe owner and her boss in the restaurant that she works in agreed to let her bring the little bundle of joy. And, it was great that Jisoo is a quiet little baby who barely cries. She is also a joy to be with. Everyone they meet seemed to like her, she is just like her Mama Freen, who was always the life of every party she goes to.

Though Becky was the one who carried their baby, it's undeniable that the child is a carbon copy of her other mother. She looks almost identical to Freen, aside from her big brown eyes that she got from her Mommy Becky. So unfair!

Nonetheless, Jisoo is Becky's hope. She is her lifeline. She is her source of happiness. She can't imagine living a life without her.

No words would be able to express how much Becky loves her daughter, from the moment that she found out about her, up to her last breath, she knows that she's willing to sacrifice everything, including her life, for her little Jisoo; that's a promise she intends to keep.
