Freen is a playgirl who barely cares about anyone. Becky is her angel, a ball of sunshine she wants to protect. They were best friends since they were young, and Freen wanted that to be for forever, but Becky seemed to have other plans.

“I like you, P' Freen… No, I have loved you since we were young. Please, accept my heart.”

Stunned, it took Freen a while to answer.

“You know I don’t do relationships Bec, and you’re my best friend. We can’t be together. I’m sorry.”

Pressured by the conversation, the older was about to leave, when the smaller girl grabbed her arm.

“Then, let’s be friends with benefits, at least.” Said the younger, desperation laced her voice.

“What? Becky… you know, you’re like a younger sister to me, right? Let’s not push it.”

Becky didn’t listen though. She started unbuttoning her blouse while staring intently at the older who was left dumbfounded.

With her upper garment off, she pulled Freen's nape to give her a deep kiss.

Being intoxicated, the older started to feel the heat from the moment, as she reciprocated the kiss with the same amount of passion -- or even more.

One thing led to another, which eventually led to the situation Becky is currently in.

She thought she’d be happy to at least be by Freen's side and be able to share intimate moments with her, but the girl felt more distant than before.

After she gave herself to the woman, Becky felt the older avoiding her, almost like a plague, indirectly. Always saying that she’s busy, barely even talking to her.

She even tried waiting for the girl at her house, but all she ended up doing was to sleep in the older’s bed, for when she’s around, the other doesn’t come home.

This continued for more than 2 months before Becky desperately had to look for her Phi, knowing that they can’t continue this hide and seek anymore.

Hugging herself tightly, the younger strode inside a bar, one of their friends tipped her, Freen was in.

There she found the girl between two other women she had in her embrace. She was kissing one of them, while the other was nipping her neck. The sight disgusted Becky that she wanted to puke or burst out of the place and cry, but she came here for a reason, so she held it in.

“Sarocha Chankimha!” said girl, turned her attention to her, a bit shocked seeing her in the place. “We need to talk.”

She motions that they should talk outside, before heading out, quickly wiping off the lone tear that escaped her eye as she turned from the scene.

She waited for the girl, in front of her car, leaning on it while fiddling on the strap of her sling bag.

“Why are you here, Becky? And alone, at that! You should be sleeping at this hour.” Frustration obvious from the tone of the older’s voice.

“Good to know you still acknowledge me after all. Didn’t think you still cared a bit about me, after avoiding me for months.” She scoffed.

Guilty, the older just looked away, silenced by her outburst.

“I know that you know I was waiting for you at your house. Is that why you barely go home? Do you hate me that much? Do you really hate the thought of being with me that you’re now trying to get me out of your life?” Becky finally broke down in tears, covering her face.

Seeing her crying, Freen's face softens. She tried reaching for the younger’s face to wipe her tears, but hesitated last minute and pulled away.

“I… I’m sorry, Becbec.”

“That’s it?! Sorry. Is that everything you have to say?”

Silence.

“I just… I can’t do this.” Freen said, turning to leave.

“You can’t do what? Sarocha, don’t you dare walk away from me! We’re in the middle of a conversation here!” This made the older stop on her tracks, but she still refused to face the furious girl.

“You can’t keep avoiding me. Please, Phi. I can’t lose you, especially now…” Becky continued, whispering the last part, looking down, crying, before subtly putting one of her hands on her stomach.

“I know what I did was stupid. We can forget about it, if you want. Let’s just think that it never happened. But please, don’t push me out of your life, Phi. I need you.” She was now crying so much harder that she had to lean on the Freen's car for support. She’s also starting to get dizzy and lightheaded.

“Becky, I’m sorry. Just give me time to think. I just can’t do this right now. Let’s not see each other for the meantime.”

These were the last words she heard from the girl she loves before watching her finally walk away. She didn’t even face her. This made Becky laugh at herself. She must look so look pathetic that Freen even refused to look at her.

After a few minutes, she decided that it’s time to leave, wiping the tears that are continuously flowing out of her eyes with back of her hand. But before she can actually leave, another wave of dizziness hit her, which made her stumble and fall unconscious.
