A baby's cry can be heard echoing throughout a certain house. This has been going on and on that its mother has been totally stressed out by now.

It's been only two and a half weeks since Jisoo arrived in Freen's house. She has been juggling taking care of the child and working. She's been trying so hard to bond with her child more, for the baby to get used to her presence more, so she could start bringing her along with her outside of the house. She needed to do this to be able to find Jisoo's other mother.

So far though, she's struggling. After 2 days of working from home, she decided to file an indefinite leave and have her business partner, Heng, in-charge of the company again, for the meantime, like when she looked for Becky in the past.

Speaking of her friends, like they promised, they did help with the childcare. They drop off to her house every free time that they get. They were even there when Freen took the baby to a pediatrician the day after she got her, just to make sure she's healthy. Luckily, she is. But the doctor warned Freen to take care of the child's health, as she seems to have weak lungs. They also made sure that Jisoo had everything she needed, from her formula, to her diapers, to decorating a baby room for the child.

More than a month with her child made Freen realize a lot of things. She was jerk. She had been living like a waste of space for so long. Her life barely had any direction or meaning until now.

She had to throw away her irresponsible and immature personality and leave her bachelor life to make sure that she can take care of her little Jisoo. But she doesn't regret anything. Because in the short duration of time she spent with her, she fell in love with the child over and over again. She didn't even know that she can feel such intense love for anyone else in the world until she had her. She knows that the moment she knew that she is hers, she's willing to give her the world or even her life. She is ready to sacrifice anything for the happiness of this child.

It just pains her to think that one of the main reasons why her baby has been crying from time to time is that she misses her other mother, she misses Becky. She knows that she loved her dearly too, from bearing her up to the 4 months that she spent with her after her birth, and this is why the child has been longing for her since their separation.

But why?

Why did she have to give her up? Why did Becky leave her baby with Freen? What was the reason she made this huge and difficult sacrifice? Because Freen knew that if the girl had a choice, she would never leave their daughter behind.

Freen can only blame herself. She knows that it's practically her fault. She knows that the decision Becky made, can be primarily blamed at her. She pushed Becky into the edge. She made her so desperate that she had to leave their precious daughter. And it breaks Freen's heart.

There is not a day when she doesn't think about Becky since she read her letter. Where is she? Was she eating properly? Is she sleeping well or is she crying too, longing for their baby? All these questions though are only left into desperation, because she can't do anything about it at the moment. She has to prioritize taking care of Jisoo. All she can do for Becky is to hope and pray that the private investigator that she hired will be able to find her soon.

The sooner, the better. Because Jisoo misses her, Freen misses her. She longs to have her back in her arms and shelter her from the difficulties of the world. Hopefully, she finds her soon.

For now, she has to take care of the crying chubby baby in her arms.

"Are you missing her too, my darling? Is that why you're crying? Do you miss mommy Becky? Hmm..." She asks her child teary eyed. "Well, I miss her too, love. I hope she finds her way back to us soon."

She hugs the baby closer crying as she tries to dance her to sleep.

After a few minutes, Jisoo is finally brought into deep slumber.

Just in time, Nam arrives at Freen's house to take care of the baby.

"Nam, I have to go somewhere can you please take care of Jisoo for the day?"

Upon getting an okay from her friend, Freen heads to Becky's parent's house.

A heavy punch sent her a few steps back. Becky's now fuming father was preparing to send another, fortunately, his wife stopped him on time.

"How dare you ruin my daughter's life, Chankimha?! We trusted you! I trusted you!" Mr. Armstrong shouted while Mrs. Armstrong cried, trying to embrace him and stop any further attacks.

"I'm so sorry, sir. It was all my fault. I'm sorry for finding out to late too. I'm sorry that we lost Becky because of me."

Freen is on her knees, full-blown sobbing at this point. Regret laced her voice, which quivered in pain.

"I'm so sorry. If only I can bring back time. If only I wasn't so stupid."

"We honestly don't need your apology, Freen. What we need is to find Becky. Please, bring her back to us. I know you made a mistake, but we did too. We pushed her away. So, there's no point in fighting. What we have to do is to help each other and do everything we can to get her back." Mrs. Armstrong said in tears.

"Don't worry. You can count on me on that, Auntie. I swear, I will move heaven and earth just to find her. I will find her. I need her. Jisoo and I need her."

Freen left the Armstrong mansion with determination to bring their daughter back and a promise to let them meet their adorable grandchild soon.

She then proceeded to inform her own parents about the new addition to their family. Both were delighted about the news, but also became devastated upon learning what happened to Becky. Freen also received an earful from her folks for the mistakes she did. Gladly, they were excited to meet their grandbaby.

With more people ready to take care of her child, Freen was determined to personally look for her child's mother.

I will find you soon, BecBec. Wait for me.
