Months turned into a year, and Freen's determination to find Becky had not wavered. She had become a skilled investigator in her own right, chasing down leads, following every possible clue, and reaching out to anyone who might have a connection to Becky. Despite the long hours and sleepless nights, she knew that every step brought her closer to the woman she loved and the family they had created.

Jisoo had grown into a happy and healthy toddler, a constant source of joy for Freen, Nam, and Heng. They had settled into their roles as co-parents, each contributing their unique strengths to ensure that Jisoo had everything she needed.

One day, while Freen was scouring social media for any new information, she stumbled upon a familiar face. It was a post from one of Becky's old friends, someone she hadn't contacted before. The post mentioned that Becky had recently been spotted in a nearby city.

Excitement and anxiety coursed through Freen as she shared the news with Nam and Heng. They wasted no time and immediately began making plans to travel to the city in question. Freen's heart raced as she held onto the hope that this might be the breakthrough they had been waiting for.

Their journey was filled with anticipation and nervous energy. When they finally arrived in the city, they began their search anew, talking to locals, showing Becky's picture, and leaving flyers with her description in all the places she might frequent.

Days turned into weeks, and their search seemed to hit a dead end. Freen's hope began to waver, and the weight of uncertainty bore down on her. She confided in Nam and Heng, tears streaming down her face, "What if we never find her? What if she doesn't want to be found?"

Nam placed a comforting hand on Freen's shoulder. "We'll keep looking, Freen. We can't give up. We owe it to Jisoo and to ourselves to find Becky and bring her back into our lives."

Heng nodded in agreement. "And even if she doesn't want to be found, at least we'll know that we tried our best. We can't control her choices, but we can control how we love and care for Jisoo."

Freen took a deep breath, wiping away her tears. They were right. They had come this far and couldn't turn back now. With renewed determination, they continued their search, holding onto the hope that one day, they would reunite with Becky and complete their unconventional, yet loving family.
