After Minho's heartfelt confession to the members about his past with Nabi and the painful truth about Sooya's betrayal, he was determined to find a way to win Nabi's forgiveness. He knew that he had hurt her deeply and that trust needed to be rebuilt. Seeking advice from his trusted friends, he turned to the members for guidance.
Sitting in their practice room one evening, Minho shared his dilemma with the group. "Guys, I don't know what to do. I messed up big time with Nabi, and I want to make things right. I need to win her forgiveness, but I don't know where to start."
Key, always the fashion-forward thinker, spoke up first. "Minho, you know I'm going to be honest with you. You fucked up. Really bad. But, you need to show her that you've changed, that you've learned from your mistakes. Maybe start by apologizing and explaining how you've grown as a person."
Onew, the wise and compassionate leader, added, "And Minho, be patient. Forgiveness takes time. Give her the space she needs to heal."
Jonghyun, known for his empathetic nature, chimed in, "And actions speak louder than words. Show her that you're sincere in making amends."
Taemin, the youngest and often underestimated for his insight, offered, "You can't force her to forgive you, Minho. Just be there for her, be a friend. Let her know that you genuinely care."
With their advice in mind, Minho set out on a mission to win back Nabi's trust. He started by sending her a heartfelt apology letter, pouring out his remorse for how he had treated her in the past and his gratitude for their shared memories. He emphasized his desire to be a better person and asked for a chance to make amends.
Weeks turned into months, and Minho patiently waited for a response from Nabi. He knew that time was a crucial element in her healing process, and he was willing to give her all the time she needed.
During a star-studded event in Seoul, Minho couldn't help but notice Nabi's radiant smile as she conversed with her friend and former boyfriend, Soo Hyuk. His heart sank at the sight, realizing that he still had a long way to go in winning back her heart. But he refused to give up. He felt jealous at the fact that Soo Hyuk was making her smile and not him. He hated that Soo Hyuk and Nabi were intimate and he hated how close Soo Hyuk was to Nabi. His Nabi.
Later that evening, after the event had ended, Minho found himself in the same elevator as Nabi. It was a moment of serendipity, and he knew he couldn't let it pass without trying to bridge the gap between them.
"Hello," Minho greeted her softly as the elevator doors closed.
Nabi turned to him, her expression a mix of surprise and uncertainty. "Minho."
As the elevator began its ascent, they stood in an uncomfortable silence. But Minho was determined to break through the barriers that had separated them for so long.
"Nabi," he began, his voice gentle, "How are you?."
Nabi nodded, her hazel eyes meeting his. "I'm alright."
Minho took a deep breath, trying to find the right words. "I saw you tonight, with Soo Hyuk. You looked happy."
Nabi's smile faded slightly, and she sighed. "Soo Hyuk and I are friends, Minho. Nothing more than sex and laughs."
Minho nodded, accepting her words. "I see. And, uh, so you're not dating anyone?"
Nabi hesitated before answering, "No, I'm not. You?"
Minho couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope at her response. "I...I haven't been with anyone since Sooya. There have been offers, but I just haven't felt the same connection." To this, Nabi scoffed "Sooya... What a joke."
As they continued to talk, the tension between them began to dissipate. The confined space of the elevator seemed to create an intimate environment that allowed for honest conversation.
Nabi looked at Minho. "Minho, I need time to forgive you. What you did hurt me deeply, and I can't just forget it. But I appreciate your apology, and I can see that you're trying to change."
Minho nodded, his voice filled with sincerity. "I am Nabi. I want to be a better person for you, and I want to make things right."
Nabi smiled, a hint of warmth returning to her gaze. "I'm not making any promises, Minho, you're many years too late and I'm not going to sugar coat shit, but I expect to be your top priority if I give you a chance."
Minho's heart soared at her words. "That's all I'm asking for. Just a chance."
As the elevator reached their floor, they exchanged contact information, and Minho couldn't help but feel that this was a new beginning for them.
"Would you consider going on a date with me?" Minho asked, his eyes filled with hope.
Nabi considered it for a moment, then nodded. "Three dates, Minho. Don't fuck it up."
Minho smiled, feeling a sense of optimism he hadn't felt in a long time. "I'll take it one step at a time, Nabi. Thank you for giving me a chance."
As they stepped out of the elevator, both Minho and Nabi knew that their journey toward forgiveness and reconciliation was just beginning, but they were determined to take those first steps together.
