Bright carefully stepped down from the helicopter, assisted by one of the four DTF personnel that accompanied him from Branch 19.

"You must be the Thaumiel Researcher Doctor Jack Bright?" One of the local guards asked.

"Indeed. I am here to contain an anomaly." More guards arrived around him.

"We heard the news from Doctor Lebardy. We will escort you to the designated room." He was guarded by three teams in total while he made his way inside the Paris Branch.

This branch was one of the most famous branches in the SCP Labs after a certain incident that was expunged from every witness by the higher ups. It's also the reason why MTF soldiers are swarming the area.

"This is Branch 53. It might have limited resources so please keep that in mind." He entered the main entrance, seeing countless people running around in a rush, perhaps by usual standards.

Bright judged every corner of the branch, solely because he was bored out of his mind after being behaved for too long. He concocted a mischievous plan that he can execute once he comes back to Site 19, no, Branch 19.

They stopped in front of the cashier. "Mademoiselle, the appointed researcher is here." The cashier responded, typing stuff on her PC before responding.

"Very well. Welcome to Branch 53, Doctor Jack Bright. As for your mission, other details will be in the operation room. You can send any requests related to the mission here in the cashier. Please go ahead with utmost caution." The group left and silently went to the room.

The room was completely white, with tall plants only displayed beside the door and a big, rectangle table at the center of the room.

On top of the table consists of five plates of garlic baguette, a liter of water, the whole map of Paris, and a folder.

Bright walked straight to the folder and checked it's contents.

SCP-160, also known as the Living Ice Cream Truck.
It gives people ice cream as long as they order the right menu.
It's always accompanied by the sound of children's rhymes.
Not much is known about this anomaly.

Bright took the list of suspected victims and their addresses, displaying it right beside the map of Paris. He circled each address to the map and pinpointed it's location with the triangular method. He also measured the time of arrival and a suspected location of where the truck could be when they arrive.

He examined the map one last time, taking notes of nearby abandoned towns.

"General Pedro."

"Sir, I'm not a general."

"Alright, can you call a local soldier? I need to ask about something."

"Yes, doctor." He exited the room, and immediately came back with someone in tow. "Here he is, doctor."

"Good morning, Doctor Bright. My name is Harriel. How can I help you?"

"Can you please move here beside me?"

"Yes, doctor." He willingly moved, only for classic Jack to startle him with a party popper right in his face.

Bright bursted out laughing his ass off as he looked at the soldier's shocked reaction.

"Doctor, please be serious." Pedro and his twin facepalmed.

"Hey, is this what you deal with most of the time?" One soldier whispered to the twin.

"Yeah, he's always been like that ever since we met. I won't even be surprised if he pulled a prank on us while on a mission."

"Alright, I'm sorry. I'll be serious today." Bright continued. "Moving on, is this town barricaded?" He pointed at the abandoned town near the location.

"Yes, doctor. Many personnel are patrolling around the area."

"Alright, how big is your biggest helicopter?"

"It's only enough to hold three dozen people. Are you gonna try to transport the truck?"

"Well, I was. But since you don't have the helicopter, I suppose we'll try another method. Everyone, gather here." All soldiers, even outside, came in and listened to the doctor.

"Doctor, are we gonna execute the plan now?"

"Yeah, as long as we have enough people to dispatch. I call this Operation Get Rich." He circled the location. "We will lure the truck to this nearby town by falling in line to buy some ice cream."

"Yes, doctor. We'll be in charge of dispatching personnel. As for the budget, Commander Pietro, you will be in charge of getting some from the cashier."

"Any Plan Bs, doc?" He smiled with his eyes closed.

"There is no need for Plan B." He got questioning looks from the soldiers. "I told you there's no need. Trust me."

They arrived at the scene, approximately three hours later. It was right where Bright needed it to be.

"Alright bois, we all have 5 dollars each. Be ready to order the exact same thing and make sure your spirits are high before ordering. Over." The first man ordered a milkshake for four dollars per Jack's orders. The long line was enough for the truck to enter the abandoned zone.

"Hurry up, make sure to close the gate and contain the anomaly inside. The people locked in will be escorted via this helicopter. Over." The operation went without a hitch. The very first Euclid-class containment without any casualties.

Once they got back, stories of Jack Bright's first containment was spread throughout the whole SCP Labs. For him though, this was his second time containing the said anomaly.

Although, once he entered the Branch 53 after the operation, things would only get serious.

The team was euphoric as they all landed on the helipad. "Doctor, you don't know how big of an accomplishment this is. This is the very first Euclid-class anomaly with no casualties!"

"Oh come on, don't flatter me too much. This is my second time containing this SCP." Alarms rang throughout the whole facility.

"WARNING: SCP-005 HAS BREACHED CONTAINMENT. IT IS ADVISABLE TO STAY OUTSIDE UNTIL THE DTF ARRIVES." Bright assumed that it was an anomaly that required either small rooms or dark places.

"Doctor, stay here until 005 has been recontained." Bright listened, staying outside and exposing himself in the sun as much as he can.

"President Harriel, what exactly is SCP-005?"

"We call it Eyes in the Shadows. A Keter-class anomaly that kills people in the shadows. We can assume that the other DTF personnel will quickly recontain it with blinding lights."

"I see. We should stay here until further notice." No one noticed, but Bright was secretly shielding them from the upcoming anomaly, flashing his phone lights under the helicopter.
