"Guys, open your flashlights!" Jack ordered as a response to the anomaly inserting itself inside Harriel's shadow.

"Doctor Bright! Please stay back, we can handle this!" Two DTFs patrolling the building carried their gigantic flashlights, only for the anomaly to be right behind them.

"Flash your lights in your own shadows!"

"We're on it!" Everyone obeyed his command, and it was only then that the anomaly manifested a solid form, screeching in pain as the sunlight touched it's body.

"The anomaly is paralyzed, quick! Here in the 53A2 Rooftop, over!" One of the DTFs called in his radio. After 5 seconds, 6 more teams arrived with a specialized cage in tow.

"SCP-005 HAS BEEN RECONTAINED. YOU MAY NOW PROCEED TO GO BACK LIKE USUAL." One of the soldiers announced on the speaker.

"Doctor, are you hurt?" One of them checked on him as the others were busy escorting the SCP back to it's cell.

"Luckily, I wasn't. Check on Harriel, he was attacked by the SCP." Both Bright and the soldier turned around, seeing Harriel lying down on the floor with a deep, large wound right on his chest. His blood was flowing fast, and the other soldiers were desperately trying to stop his blood from gushing.

"Harriel!" Bright called out with his voice audibly shaking, then the both of them ran towards the wounded soldier right after.

"Harriel, stay with us!" One of the soldiers screamed.

Harriel coughed blood, forcing himself to open his mouth to talk despite everyone's protest. "Everyone... thank you for worrying about me." He coughed even more blood. "I can't survive this. It pierced my heart." He smiled. "I'm glad, to serve... this company." Bright immediately checked his pulse, swallowing tons of guilt once he realized that Harriel is now dead. When did it happen? Was this my fault? No, I should move on already, I barely even knew him.

"Doctor, are you alright?" Bright stood up and turned around to the twins, Pietro and Pedro. "Yeah, they should move him to the clinic. Meanwhile, we need to report to Doctor Lebardy and return to Branch 19. I have reports to make." He sighed inaudibly, already making his way to Lebardy's office. All four of his team followed suite.

"Doctor, are you really okay? I mean, someone just died." James, one of the four, checked on him.

"Such events are normal for me. In fact, it used to be an everyday occurrence." He was reminded of the time when him and the whole of SCP Foundation were at war. Each one of his precious comrades died, and this wasn't even the start of that tragedy. He exhaled once again, finally reaching the office.

He knocked twice, and was welcomed by Lebardy himself. "Doctor Bright! That was quick. Come in, come in!" His room was all white, with a cabinet at the back of the room, and a fridge at the left. Finally, his desk was at the center, decorated with small potted plants, and a name card that says "Dr. Lebardy Basson, Director of Branch 53".

"Doctor, did I pass your test?" Bright eerily smiled with eyes closed.

"Oh, you noticed? Uh-uhm yeah, yeah. I'm sorry for testing you. Hey, please stop doing that." Not long after, a handful of confetti met Lebardy's face. Bright laughed his heart out while his soldiers sighed in disappointment.

After a while, Bright calmed down and crossed his arms. "Doctor Lebardy, do you really do this to everyone you meet?"

"I'm sorry, it's my method of getting to know a person. If you're asking, yeah, I did this to everyone. I'm really sorry." He said in a calm and monotone voice.

"Now you sound like a nerd. Stop apologizing. Just stop doing that. There are other methods to get to know a person, you know?"

"I am aware. Thank you for completing this mission. Please submit a report of your performance and the local researchers will do the rest. Please, take these as a gift." Does he like sweets or something? This is a box of Crombolonis.

"Thanks for the gift. We should be going now."

"I apologize for the inconvenience. You may go as you please."

"Stop being so formal. Alright, bye!" He went outside and walked through the main hallway, accompanied by his team.

"That's the Thaumiel Researcher!" One of the staff spoke in French.

"He looks so handsome! Maybe I should beg for an autograph." Murmurs were heard across the hallway. Not long after, he was being swarmed by multiple staff members and his team was shielding him from everyone.

"Please calm down, everyone! Hey, where are the other MTFs?" Daniel, the fourth person on the team, complained as he acted like a barrier between Jack and the crowd.

"They're still busy with the SCP along with the DTFs along the area. We're on our own here!" Pietro replied. Bright noticed their struggles and pushed through the crowd, finally making it outside. Others ran and followed him, but he sprinted away, hiding in a nearby building.

Once they knew that they weren't being followed anymore, he clutched on the wall and tried to catch his breath. "Dang, I'm out of stamina. I used to be athletic."

"Doctor, please drink this." Pedro handed him a bottle of water.

"Thanks." He drank it all in one go. "I should go to the gym on weekends before wielding around chainsaws."

"Chainsaws?"

"Oh, uh, nothing. Let's go to a nearby cafe before going back, shall we? It's my treat."

"Your treat?" The soldiers were hesitant.

"Yeah, There were bank cards in my table yesterday. It had my name on it, so I assumed it's mine. Then, shall we go?" He slid his hands on his lab coat, an indication that his cards were there.

"Depends on you, doctor."

"Then let's go! What are you waiting for?" They walked to a nearby cafe, sitting down as soon as they arrived.

"Doctor, I should order for us. What do you want in the menu? Please don't say the works again." He read the menu before voicing his order.

"I want an apple lemon pie, strawberry latte and a bacon and cheese croissant." Pietro read the menu carefully, making sure that his order was actually in the menu. He sighed in disappointment.

"Doctor, there's no apple lemon pie on the menu." Everyone else facepalmed.

"Just kidding! But yeah, excluding the pie, that's my order." Pietro departed after getting everyone's order.

"Doctor, can you tell us what the forces are like in your world?" James asked.

"Sure! Back in the SCP Foundation, the whole force is called Mobile Task Force, and they are all divided into many different forces to deal with every type of SCP."

"How many SCP's do you have in containment?" Daniel asked in curiosity.

"It's around 10,000 as far as I remember. I don't even remember the Foundation having that many doctors." The three were amazed at the story.

"Everyone, your food is here!" They dug in and shared many stories with each other before going back to Branch 19.
