'Here's to alcohol, the cause of - and solution to - all life's problems.'
- Homer SimpsonAround twenty o'clock in the evening, Luise had arranged to meet Héli in front of the APM. Her brother Charles had also told his boys to come around twenty o'clock.
Luise had put on a pair of black highwaist jeans with a black Chanel belt, plus she wore a white bellyless T-shirt with a black sweater as a kind of jacket. Her shoes were white Adidas shoes with green accents. She had light makeup on and her brown hair put in curls. She had a small black Micheal Kors shoulder bag as her bag.
She had made the outward journey with her brother Charles. They had walked the few meters together, since they wouldn't be able to drive a car at the end anyway.
A little later than twenty o'clock Charles and Luise had arrived at the APM. Thank God, the entrance didn't look quite as crowded as they knew it. Only Héli and the boys were standing around at the entrance and seemed to have already found each other.
"LUISE!" shouted Héli, running to her and falling into her arms. They hadn't seen each other since the World Championships began.
"Congratulations, my world champion!" she said proudly, easing away from the hug and then placing a gold plastic crown on her head, securing it in her hair.
"Hey.", Luise said outraged as she got the crown placed on her head.
"Don't argue, you'll be wearing that all night now!"
Luise rolled her eyes. The boys had to laugh now, too.
"Suits you." Daniel laughed.
"Oh, I've already met your new friends. They seem nice for now," she winked at her and then came closer, "Especially that guy Lando. Just your type.", she whispered in her ear.
"Héli!" she said scandalized, pushing her away.
"I'm just saying!" she laughed.
She laughed now and took two steps back. At the same moment the boys came up to her and smiled widely.
"Congratulations from us too.", Max said and pulled her into a short hug.
"Thank you.", she brought out, although the hug was a bit too much for her. She knew the three of them and knew they were perfectly nice and couldn't hurt anyone, but still, they didn't need to hug yet. After all, she had to experience it in the worst way that anyone was capable of anything bad.
"Yes, congratulations. Officially a two-time world champion. Hasn't been done by any of us yet.", Daniel also pulled her into a hug, "You did good. I saw you on TV. Although I still don't understand how that works."
"Maybe I'll explain it to you sometime," she winked at him.
Then Lando came closer, too, and pulled her into a brief hug.
"Congratulations from me, too."
His voice, his embrace, his body against hers. Her heart did saltos. She could have gone crazy. Could have hugged him all evening without any fear. She just felt comfortable in the embrace. The smell of him rose to her nose and she thought she had fallen even further in love with him. When they separated again, she immediately felt all weird like something was missing. Which was weird in principle, after all, they hadn't known each other that long.
"Thanks.", she only brought out quickly, still not recovered from his hug.
"This is Kelly. She's Max's girlfriend.", Charles now introduced a woman who stood a bit in the background and had black hair.
