'Cheers to good food, good wine and even better company.'
-Unknown

Slowly, she wrapped a strand of hair onto the curling iron, trying not to burn her fingers. When it finally sat the way she wanted it, she waited a few seconds. She looked in the large mirror in her bathroom.

She was glad that she had already put on her make-up, because she was completely off schedule. They had to be ready in fifteen minutes to get there on time. But she wasn't dressed, nor had she finished styling her hair.

She sighed as she unwrapped the previous strand, held it in place and then wrapped up the next one. Unfortunately, her hair was still so thick that it took forever to curl her entire hair.

"Is everything all right?" Lando approached her from behind, having just got dressed. On the contrary to Luise, he had already finished getting his hair done and had even shaved his face so that not a single hair was left standing.

"Yes," she smiled, "but I certainly won't be ready on time."

He grabbed her shoulder and smiled reassuringly at her.

"That's not too bad. I'm already used to being late."

"That won't improve with me as your girlfriend," she said, embarrassed but also amused.

"And that doesn't bother me at all," he laughed, "Then we'll just be late together."

She just smiled and looked at him through the mirror. She saw him smiling at her. How he watched her as she wrapped up another strand.

Ten minutes later, she had actually finished. She had run her fingers through her hair so that the curls no longer looked too intense. Now she just had to decide on an outfit. She had already laid out two outfits. They couldn't be more different.

One was a black, short dress with spaghetti straps, but it wasn't tight-fitting. And the second was a jumpsuit that looked a bit like a two-piece. It looked like a pair of black suit trousers with a black, glittery top. The top had long arms, but the arms were just transparent black fabric that also glittered. Only the upper body itself had black fabric underneath the transparent fabric.

"I really don't know what to wear," she sighed, holding both options in the air.

"Go for what you feel more comfortable in," he said with a smile.

She sighed again. She glanced once to the left, where the dress hung, and then to the right, where the jumpsuit hung.

"You look beautiful in everything," he approached her.

"That's a lie," she smirked.

He shrugged his shoulders, "I think it's true."

Luise just rolled her eyes.

"That doesn't help me choose either."

"Where do you feel more comfortable in? It's not an official party, it's just an evening between us."

He was right, she knew that. He, too, was only wearing loose white trousers. And a black, loose, short-sleeved shirt featuring buttons over them. He also wore a necklace.

"I think this." She held the jumpsuit a little higher up in the air and waved it around.

"Then put this on," he smiled.

"Are you sure?" she said, still unsure. What if she embarrassed herself on her first day as Lando's girlfriend?

"One hundred percent," he smiled, "It'll look great on you."
