⚠️trigger warning: sexual abuse, panic attack⚠️

'When it comes to abuse, you believe there's no way out. There is always help. There is always a way out.'
- Rev. Donna Mulvey

The Grand Prix weekend in Australia had passed quickly. Her brother Charles had actually managed to finish in first place and take the win. Daniel Ricciardo and Oscar Piastri, for whom it was their home race, could only secure sixth and thirteenth place, so they were not entirely satisfied. After all, all the drivers wanted to win in their home race. Sometimes, however, luck was not on the side of the driver. Especially in the home race.

She had not noticed too much of the qualifying or the race. She had sunk further and further into herself and had been glad that she had survived the nights. And over the days she had been able to train more or less successfully. She had, of course, spent the rest of the days sleeping over at her brother's, who had asked right after dinner on Friday if she wanted to join him in the room right away. Relieved that he had asked her and Luise herself had not had to ask again, she had said yes. And so it had remained. His colleagues had apparently noticed it too, but had said nothing about it, at least not in her presence.

Nevertheless, Charles had asked her again and again if everything was all right, which she had always answered with a yes. She knew, that it was useless to deny it, since he certainly already had something in his intuition. Especially when Arthur had written her on Saturday and asked her how she was and that she can tell him everything. Also when on the same day her mom had called her and made almost the same speech as Arthur and Charles. Only Lorenzo had been missing until Saturday, but on Sunday he had also done the honor of writing to her. So she had quickly realized that her family were definitely on to something. Even more than she had thought. After all, she had been at her brother's Grand Prix for a reason, even though her own season hadn't ended yet. But that it was now serious enough that every family member wrote or called daily to ask how she was doing was another dimension. And since she knew her family, a visit to a restaurant would soon follow, where they would all ask together if Luise had anything to confess.

On the way home to Monaco, she hadn't been too lucky with the flight. They had put everyone who was based in Monaco on one plane to alleviate costs. They still had enough space and could do what they wanted, but she had met another four new people, which she would have preferred to spare herself after this weekend. Among them had been multiple world champion Lewis Hamilton with his dog Roscoe, Nico Hülkenberg as the only German on the grid, Valterri Bottas, who was Lewis' teammate for a long time, and Mexican Sergio Perez, who was Max's current teammate. They were definitely all among the older of the drivers but still seemed as nice as the rest. So together they were eleven drivers heading to Monaco and then Luise accompanying Charles.

Around noon on Tuesday they had arrived in Monaco after a very turbulent flight. Luise had then gone directly to her apartment and had turned on a washing machine. She had unpacked her suitcase and because of the jet lag had laid down to sleep for two hours. The same day she had had training with Héliose and Davide. Three hours she had been there. One hour off-ice training before she was on the ice for two hours. The training had been more than exhausting and she was glad when she could go to bed. At home she had had yogurt and cereal, which she had mixed together and eaten. Then she had fallen more than dead into bed.

The next morning she had to get up around five o'clock, because training was on the schedule again. Usually a little too early, but since she was still living in the time of Australia, she got out of bed pretty quickly and was even able to hang up the washing machine from yesterday. On time she had shown up for three hours of practice, where she hadn't really done very well. She had fallen a lot on the ice and could hardly concentrate in the presence of Nicholas. She was always afraid that he was standing behind her or getting too close.
